Bellany "Expedition" 30m Tank Watch - Review & Unboxing (EXP96 / Sunon SL68)

Just bought a Wenger "Tank" 7512X. I tried it for a bit and then let the wife try it. We both rejected it unfortunately, so it will have to go up for sale. Just a bit too small and old fashioned for my tastes. The Bellany looks a bit larger and more sporty, but appears like it will be a scratch magnet. To me the style is more of a dinner watch, so the 30M depth rating might not be an issue. The black version looked sharp.

Yeah, I totally get it. That Wenger Tank is nice... but it's an acquired taste. They've had a resurgence lately, but not everyone likes the tanks. Quick story... I had completely restored three gorgeous vintage tank watches. They'd all been completely restored with new crystals, etc. They were all gold (rolled gold) and really fantastic. I sold them for quite a bit of money on eBay to the same individual. Out of curiosity, I looked up his information. The guy had a business buying / selling gold, which means all three of those watches I had restored were disassembled and the watches melted down for gold. UGH... so, literally all the time / money I spent restoring the watches, wasted. :(

I use this watch as my work watch. I work on and with machines. So far it’s held up nice. Few scratches here n there but that’s okay
