Excellent - subscribed! I'm moving to China to teach (Grad School) & work in advanced research in Decorative Arts. For spoken Mandarin, I have the impression that connective words used in assembling phrases are not easy to master. Immersion has always worked for me - French is my 4th language, & I'm fluent...

Watching this video about international couples made me realize how diverse my family is-it's like our own United Nations! I'm half Chinese and half Vietnamese, and my wife is Indian from the Fiji Islands. One of my brothers-in-law is half Black, 1/4 Swedish, and 1/4 British, while another is white. My niece's husband is Mexican, my son's girlfriend is Filipino, and my daughter's boyfriend is Italian. Despite our different backgrounds, we're incredibly close and get along so well. Love truly knows no borders!

Hey man. Love your videos, content, and how you show China to the world. Also, the interviews with foreigners that live in China and their experience. I was in China last month in Guangzhou ( Zhongshan - Samxiang and Macau) for second time. I was born in Macau but raised in LatAmerica. I can understand a lot of cantonse, but it's very hard for me to speak. Keep it up! Subscribed❤

😆 toughen up butter cup. I started learning Chinese at 12 yo. It's a steep learning curve at first, but it gets easier once you mastered the foundation. You can argue all u want but learning the correct sound is crucial! You can add on expression and extra tone later once you have learned the basic. Pretty much same as everything language.

Christmas in China is like anywhere else in the Asian pacific region.. its not part of their tradition or religious culture.. its there purely for commercial reason.. Christmas in that part of the world is like how the rest of the world make a big thing out of father's day or mother's day and valentine day BS.. you people need to stop this bull crap just to prove to the low IQ in the west that China does not band Christmas narrative.. China is doing very job to surpassed what is being put up in western capitals..

9:40 'English teacher is the best job if you don't have any talents'. Savage! lol Just curious if you could give some advice, Aiden. I want to go there to teach. I've had a 'real' career (photographer) and my parents were teachers, so it's genuine. Where do you think the best city to choose would be? Would people be more open minded in the more international cities like Shanghai? (just re: your comments at the end on the feedback you received when you posted on other social media.)

Hey, I really don’t mean teachers are not talent people 😂just saying if don’t know what to do for life, and want to travel, teaching in China is the best option. My advice would be if you like big cities go to the first tier cities, like Beijing Shanghai, Guangzhou Shenzhen. I like Shenzhen. Or if you like small cities, Hainan province is great and with a beach vibe

Physically they're beautiful and my type but I'm not sure I could get used to listening to Chinese all day. "Shee Shaw shur Ching bang dong gao shing" sounds like a broken fax machine. Imagine listening to that every day for the rest of your life? Pass 😂
Let's normalize spitting in people's face if they did not learn the local language after living in a foreign country for over 5 years.

It is funny that a White guy talked about how to learn Chinese fully from the perspective of learning language like English. Obviously, tone is very critical in Chinese, which opens a new dimension of definitions and meanings. Misuse of tone leads to disaster. For example, lao(tone3) shi(tone1) with different tones can be teacher, or stay still, or sizzling stone, or aged shit, or retrieve shit, or old rock, ... You may want to appreciate your Chinese teacher's care about your tone before you asked your teacher to stay still, retrieve aged shit and get the corpse out of water on an old sizzling rock.😅 老师~老实!捞尸or捞屎on烙石。。。。。。
