@@epicexamprep I have reasoning for both B and D .. well let me tell you about my logic since the passage talks about two different thing: radial symmetry and bilateral origin. And for the bilateral origin they have anterior posterior genes which causes head and stuff. In the next line it talks about sea star is different as it doesn't has head but it is still from the bilateral origin . I conclude that genes are not the determining factor for species to have radial symmetry or have bilateral origin. Then passage talks about worms and pinitia (PM) .. worms is same as sea star, I can say that it has bilateral origin and is headless, and PM is from bilateral origin but has head . So B talks about such thing as there is minimal correspondence between both worms and PM. I cant either reject D as d is saying sth which is true too. Now I am leaving up to u .. THANKS !
16:15 Why can't the answer be D? Also, if we use 'however' instead of 'though' within the second sentence, we will get a complete sentence, right? But why isn't this the case when using 'though'.

if you use a fullstop, you get two ICs connected by a comma. So by making the first sentence dv, u can connect it with a comma

53:25 why c?? isn't it methodologically wrong??
@diaryergazin690018 күн бұрын
This doesn't challenge the claim. It focuses on the timing of sound production, which doesn't negate communication.
@turnis-op4hp18 күн бұрын
@@diaryergazin6900 So, at first, I thought the answer had to be C, but then my friends started arguing that if the caterpillar wanted to communicate with its friend during the attack, it could've done so beforehand. They also claimed that option C was wrong because the researcher should have conducted the experiment with other caterpillars present instead of isolating them for the study. Now, I can't help but think their point is also right somehow.
@epicexamprep18 күн бұрын
Hi Julia! Let's see if I can break it down further.... To determine which finding most directly challenges the second team's claim that caterpillars use these sounds primarily to communicate with other members of their species, we need to identify the option that provides evidence against this claim. Option A suggests that caterpillars produce sounds only during simulated attacks and not before. This indicates that the sounds could be a response to threats, but it doesn't directly refute the idea that they are used for communication. But to take it a step further hah... Timing of Sound Production: Caterpillars are silent before the attack and start producing sounds during the attack. Does this challenge the second team's claim? Not Directly. Why? The fact that caterpillars produce sounds during attacks but not before does not specify who the sounds are intended for. Possible Explanations Compatible with the Second Team's Claim: Alarm Signals: The caterpillars might be producing sounds to alert nearby conspecifics (other caterpillars of the same species) about the presence of a predator. Recruitment Signals: They might be calling for help or coordinating a collective defense. Final Conclusion for Option A: This finding does not directly challenge the idea that the sounds are primarily for communication with other caterpillars. In fact, it could be seen as supporting evidence for it.😯😯 Option B states that species not producing sounds during attacks do produce sounds when interacting with their own species. This supports the idea that some caterpillars use sounds for communication, but it doesn't challenge the second team's claim about the primary use of sounds during attacks. Option D mentions that the sounds are not audible to common predators, suggesting the sounds are not used for predator deterrence. However, this does not directly address whether the sounds are used for communication with other caterpillars. Option C (correct choice) reveals that caterpillars producing sounds during attacks are typically solitary and were tested in isolation. This directly challenges the second team's claim because if these caterpillars are solitary and there are no other caterpillars around during the attacks, it's unlikely that the sounds are primarily used for communication with other members of their species. Instead, the sounds may serve another function, such as deterring predators or startling them. Does this help clarify??? Let me know because I can try to break it down further! ☺️☺️☺️
@Bengal_Entertainment18 күн бұрын
@@epicexamprep Hello, For option B: It says that most of the species found did not produce sound during the ttack, but those did when interacting with each other. So some of them support the claim while others do not, as they didn't produce sound at the time of attacking; therefore, they question the claim. Again, it says MOST, not all the samples. Then why is the answer not B? Another problem with option C is that the question asked which FINDING if true, whereas option c doesn't say anything about the experiment's FINDING. It simply tells only about the experiment.

hii mam 32:44 its option b coz if we take the ratio we get n=1960
@epicexamprep19 күн бұрын
We are comparing two similar rectangles. Rectangle A has an area of 2450 square inches and a perimeter of 490 inches. Rectangle B has an area of 9800 square inches, and we need to find its perimeter (n). For similar rectangles (important to keep in mind for SAT =) : The ratio of their areas is equal to the square of their scale factor (k squared). The ratio of their perimeters is equal to their scale factor (k). Step 1: Find the scale factor (k). Area of B divided by Area of A equals 9800 divided by 2450, which is 4. Since the area ratio equals k squared, we solve for k: k squared equals 4, so k equals 2. The scale factor k is 2. Step 2: Use k to find the perimeter of Rectangle B. The perimeter of similar rectangles scales by the factor k. Using the given perimeter of Rectangle A, which is 490 inches, we calculate: Perimeter of B equals k times Perimeter of A. Substitute the values: n equals 2 times 490, which equals 980. Hope this helps! =)
