I think I have understood the correct activation times, perhaps they will be different if a ship has a larger dispenser or one with an increased refill. These devices are always sold without a manual, unbelievable haha

it's a wonderful ship, I like the weapons positioned very close together, not like in the Courier. I put the advanced engines in mine which make it even more agile but consume. Your build left me perplexed by the lack of shield but with the advanced engines may be a positive thing so I save energy. In any case I should get used to the idea of being left without a shield, maybe with all that armor it won't be so bad, I'll have to try.

Almost a full year since the Thargoids brought their Titans into the Bubble and began their full invasion, and all this is still relevant. Even with all thats happened, Interceptor behaviour hasn't changed much lol

Is pirating and smuggling and generally being an outlaw not a viable way to play the game? Asking for a friend in 2023. I havent played Elite dangerous since they introduced engineers. Alpha player myself. Theyve never had direction. With each update they made the game worse and worse. For me the last straw was the casino engineers. But its been years and i do miss that galaxy. Its the one thing they got right id say.

Now do it without engineering. It can be done. You need a bit more time in the ship but I can see you were figuring out how gutamaya engine effects it vs mkii core engine setup, and devs finally fixed imp vs stock mkii, finally. The imp eagle is excellent at mobility, keep where they cant be or strike. You can also use ghost tactics with those asteroids and move in and around them for gurilla combat if needed for shields back online or reloads. I wish they could up the power distributer a tiny bit and match 1 more in instead of three for hardpoints but you got the right idea. A bit more time and you'll be loving the capability of solo in a imp eagle as you get the pacing down pretty fast after you get a feel for it more. Mkii are great for packs but risky for solo. The imp holds its own solo pretty well. The more you use it the more you get its limits. One of the most understandable and immersive combat training ships. The ship that can teach combat tactics and piss the AI off considerably. Never really got into engineering. It just isnt for me. Great vid though. Now try sidewinder with bolt ons. I spent 4yrs in one, love to see what fun you can squeek out of the first fighter support ship. Engineer the heck out of it. I've seen some fun builds but not ones with the logical approach like you do here for what is available. I use similar methods with my ships by testing out all the variable combinations and module arrangements. Love figuring out what really makes the ships be the best at what they do. o7

with recent events... ive been flying with one of these for over a month... probably more like two. I still have no clue how to get it to operate correctly. Being said, I think this video helps put me in the right direction. With AX combat almost always involving multiple players... I can never tell if I successfully deployed a neutralizer, or if a neighboring ship did. I feel much more confident in using of it now. Thank you a lot. Happy hunting

Dang....what a pain in the ass to stop an adrift shit. Personally I think a frame shift interdicted should double as some sort of tractor beam to slow or stop a ship. If an Interdictor has the power to pull a ship out of Supercruise going faster than the speed of light, surely it has the power to tractor beam a ship in normal space

Can I ask if this still works? I'd like to try it.

I have developed a different style of shooting to what is seen here. I try to locate each and every projectile within the screens boundaries, and over time this has proven itself almost entirely ineffective. The only advantage that I have noticed by using this method is that the target rarely realizes that you are actually shooting at him. I noticed that in this video the ship engaging is actually pointing toward the enemy and I thought this was note worthy. They say that there is always room for improvement, but herein I see that this is not always true. If Wiggy gets any better at this game I think the rest of us should just just hit delete and retire with whatever shred of dignity we can salvage.

that ninja tricking is cause they prioritize on engine more when shields down... and the fact that they play generally more agressive when shields down

I know it might be very late, but seeker missiles with the Thermal Overload experimental effect do less damage to hull, and are very nice for whittling away modules.

Could you do an updated piracy video? I'm thinking of retrofitting my Anaconda for big hauls. It would be nice to see some pirating content on ED too.

ive been playing elite for a long time but never tried piracy, this vid makes me feel like giving it a go

I find it easier to just drop into a Haz-Res, pick a target mostly at random. Just anything that is actively mining. Launch a hatch breaker and pick up whatever gets dropped. Running a manifest scan always sets the target running. And I'm lazy. Interdicting IMO is more trouble than it's worth. You can also scan the system (or the nav beacon) and look for Degraded Signal Source threat level 3. As long as the faction associated with it is not a pirate faction, you can expect to find up to 60T of assorted stolen goods you can scoop up and go sell. Most will of course be cheap stuff. But there's usually at least one ton of painite or LTD. Sometimes some silver or gold. DSS level 3 associated with a pirate faction generally has nothing but low level mats, maybe a private data port to scan, and a low level pirate in a cheap ship who seems to think he is all that.

The fact that you need to engineer or use a powerplay weapon tells me that piracy is not really a thing and doesnt have proper tools in game to actually pirate.
