Until somewhat recently, I had kept Bowie on the fringes of my music consumption. I knew he was good, that he was one of the greats, and I had given Omikron a whirl many, many years ago so I did listen to the Hours album, but ever since the Starman memes and being in a rough patch, I became obsessed with his sound. To see him so giddy in that interview, talking about the web and all of these things that are about to be, just made me realize how much humanity really did lose.

i tried too go back too 1 and 2. just cant get past the visuals fir immersion purposes. thief 4 gives much more challenge imo. as far as Stealth only. much superior too 1 and 2 imo

The hilarious dialogue overheard while sneaking around is exactly why I remember this game so well. In particular the one where a minion missed the meeting about Cate Archer infiltrating the evil lair because he was taking his daughter to daycare. The other minion was being uncooperative when the panicked first minion was asking him what was discussed in the briefing. When he asked what the girl looked like, the second unhelpful minion told him things like, "She's 90 years old and dressed in a wedding gown," and "She's 19 and wearing only a bath towel!" 🤣 I remember another where two guards in a small guard house were talking about one of them being a drummer in a rock band, too.

This explains so much. I've always been fascinated by early Bungie's work, and Oni still has *some* of that spark, but I always struggled to enjoy it. It's a real shame things happened the way they did and Oni and its developers paid the price, as there was definitely potential for something great here.

16:35-16:40 can someone explain closed captions? Closed captions says "other zones" while video narrator says "other districts." Does the youtuber upload a script into the closed captions? Then if they accidentally deviate it causes that word transposition to happen?
