My legit first thought was to only load this up outside or in basement lol ..but my thing is that these attractants, won't they attract spiders that may not have been interested in your house to begin with? I put a zap light on my porch to catch flies and I couldn't walk outside without flies hitting me flying around this thing I unplugged it and the flies are no longer a problem they were 10x worse with the thing that was killing them on

Thanks. I've got spiders that bite me in the night when sleeping, then I see two puncture wounds close together on my skin. It takes 3 weeks to heal. It's freaking me out, so I'm going to try this as nothing else works so far.

Just moved into a studio apartment which is a converted garage. Can deal with the annoying little creepy crawlies but the spiders really freak me out. They aren't gigantic but they certainly aren't small. They come out of nowhere and are super quick so they startle the heck out of me. Been reading up on natural repellants using essential oils as I hate to murder God's creatures and haven't given them a try yet. If all else fails this Terro product may have a new customer. Really liked your video.

Glad to help. I know what you mean about killing spiders, but I figure when they are in my domain... ha ha. There are things you can do to keep them from getting in your apartment in the first place which is your best bet. I'll do a video on that soon.

I guess the sticky boards are designed to be used without the bait box and need to be cut to proper size, or torn as you did. You might have mentioned that. I’ve had a spider problem for decades and will put a couple of these in my basement, where there is a water problem and see what happens.

So I think it’s a little sketchy that it attracts spiders I feel like it will attract more spiders to your house right? If they can smell a tiny dot like that I have no doubt the ones on the outside of the house will now be on the inside of the house ya feel me

I would store it in a ziplock bag in a Tupperware in that case, and I have bug nets over my windows so shouldn't be a problem

Thanks for the video. I get creepy crawly's in my basement in the spring and use those general sticky bug catchers...spiders get caught in there too. Spiders usually like damp areas, have you checked the humidity level of your basement? You may need to install some return air vents to get the air moving around down there or maybe a de-humidifier. Glad your catching those little bastards!!

Had a mouse problem and put out a few sticky traps instead of the normal spring ones, realized that the sticky traps were great at catching spiders also, have used them ever since for insect control.

Richard Lannister that’s what I just bought. You can lay it flat or fold it into a tent. Was looking for reviews on how to fold it cause it was a little confusing. Inevitably I touched a sticky part while folding it in and that stuff is supper sticky. I’ve washed my hands twice and my thumb is still sticky. Now I have to be mindful not to touch my face or food until it’s gone but hopefully these do the trick. This time of the year I get some crawlys coming in from the cold but I also need to reseal my front and garage door.

@@Omar-bk4xu they do work, I just checked them after months because I forgot about them around my apartment. I had mostly tiny spiders, 1 big spider and a few small Beatles. I just purchased more a couple days ago. I'm not sure if the lure actually attracts them or they just happen to be crawling by and get stuck.

Yes, completely flat sticky TOMCAT brand pads alone without bait catch LOTS of spiders on my garage and bathroom floors. Just be sure to place them where there are no pets or children would get stuck on them. Placing along floor/wall edges works best!

I'm a happy legit customer. I wasn't paid or given this for free. I saw it at the hardware store and tried it. It worked, at first I caught a bunch of spiders and now the number of spiders in my house are dramatically reduced, I've had the traps out for a long time and nothing.
