That's me on the wave, trying to NOT kill my very dear friend who ended up bailing his board. Somehow I managed to not destroy him and then actually DID something with the wave. I didn't even remember the turn until I looked at the footage later. I was just so concerned with NOT impaling him on the drop, haha.

@@krusher74 I don't know about @kaiasano8370, but I've "settled" on the fact that surfing alone or with less people is a higher priority than getting the best spot or best conditions with a bunch of dudes (and dudettes). Of course, the dream is to have BOTH, and I'm going to post a video soon where I got a sneaky solo session at this spot with good conditions and no one out for about 1.5 hours. But that's getting more and more rare these days, so personally I'll take crappy and alone over decent and crowded any time.

It's definitely a reef, and it's defnitely NOT PB point. I lived in PB in '99, and I"m pretty sure would be about 40 guys on it if it were this clean, even at this size. ;-) I like to keep our spots secret so that Travis and I can continue to kook them by ourselves, but I can tell you it's not there.

Fortunately, I don't get embarrassed. If I got embarrassed, I wouldn't have created this channel. I suck, I know it, and I embrace it.

@isuckatsurfing I kind of meant it like..embarrassing for the viewer ( we know you don't care so stop making it about yourself. Sucking at surfing and being selfish is a bad combination) you know , like watching horrible acting on television and you just gotta turn away red in the face because it's so bad. Yeah..that.

@@isuckatsurfing Same dude. so worth it in my opinion. It's a rare day when i go to a more crowded spot and when i do it's because its firing world class once or twice a year storm type deal. Nothing like vibing just you, your buddy, and some sick pealers.

Sure was! It wasn't small anywhere else; just here. It's just so tucked away that all swells are knocked down quite a bit. But the plus side was it was WAY cleaner, and it's not really a normal surf spot, so we were alone! ;-)

Yeah, we were so stoked to find somethingclean this day. It was full-on Victory at Sea everywhere else until right before dark.

Oh, I'm not blaming our suckiness on the waves. Have you seen any of our other videos? We can suck royally in great waves, too. I was just disappointed that when the conditions FINALLY got nice, the waves were tiny and soft. But we're stilll out there pretty much everyday, sucking, no matter how bad, or good, the waves are.

@isuckatsurfing what part of this world are you guys sucking out on riding waves at. It looks like England maybe. Or new England US .. but the waves kinda do suck . I know I know. It's what the person gets out of it . And the sun probably does shine on 5 , 6 ' waves once or twice a year. Although I haven't seen it yet. 😕

@@user-wz2sj9ij8j I don't like to reveal our locations. If I did, it'd be harder for Travis and I to surf alone. Or worse, they'd find us and make fun of our suckitue. But the waves DO occasionally get good and weather nice where we live. It just seems like we've been in a multi-month slump of weird conditions.

Hmm...that's a tough one. I suppose that's up to each individual viewer. I'd say we suck equally, but in different ways. Travis is the bigger guy with a beard, and I'm the skinny manorexic guy. So, you decide! ;-)

Nah this spot gets really good if it's where I think it is. You should never ask someone to reveal a YT surf clip.

@@simrdownmon6431 It can get ok sometimes. But if it does, and there are people on it, I/we usually go somewhere else. There are lots of places you can still surf alone or almost alone if you put the time in and aren't fussy about conditions. We both suck so bad we don't really care; we just try to avoid people. It's more fun yelling and being dorks than worrying about how we look. Pretty much everyone surfs better than us, but it's hard to find many people that have as much fun. ;-)

I don't like to reveal locations or eles more people might want to join me and Travis in terrible waves. ;-)
