Wow. They're building up a community through sustainable development. Providing business opportunities for the families while getting extra funding from doing a small business.

In the Philippines there's a lot of lazy bums that will only work hard if you offer them good money. The mindset when it comes to carpentry in the Philippines is really tragic and disappointing. Most workers are not really educated or skilled they just get told what to do and they just do them. They just go with the flow n learn with the flow at the same time. Sad reality but if they wanna overhaul the construction environment in the Philippines. They will need to introduce trade school starting from high school. They could start giving students freedom to choice either from trade jobs, health care, mechanic, environmental, computer, designing or technology. Cuz let's be honest most stuff they teach in school in the Philippines is garbage and most students don't care enough to pay attention to it. They need to give students freedom to decide which career they want to pursue in the later future. By doing this it will help Philippines get highly skilled trade workers. That way once after high school kids already know what type of careers they want to pursue. This will fix the problem with the lack of skilled workers. This will also improve the building development and improve the overall community and the lively hood of the entire Philippines. School department in the Philippines needs a major haul. The government needs to focus on how will the next generation of kids will grow and be more successful. The future of the country relies on the next generation without giving them knowledge. It's just pretty much an endless cycle of disappointment and a county that will never flourish no matter what they will do. Cuz they can BUILD BUILD all they want but by not giving the people the proper knowledge and skill sets this country will never achieve greatness.

The problem with a small contractor is they don't have sufficient money to finance the project that is why material delivery always late and they could not get a skilled workers, and also the only lacking in my home country Philippines is discipline, if we have discipline, honesty and didication like the Japanese people will becoming a more and progressive country.

I am Filipino and I am quite disappointed on some Filipinos work ethics and how they valued time. Even when you buy simple groceries the cashier moves like turtle. If your habit like me who like to works efficiently you really needs more patience if you live in the Philippines.

I am a woman and I live here in Switzerland as a Swiss Filipino. The way Japanese works is just exactly the same here. We had a construction business and we worked like hell when times is scheduled. I had been working with the Villa of Giorgio Armani in La Punt Switzerland and many others with natural stone like marmorino veneziano (Venetian Marmor) working here in Switzerland needs a lot decipline, like if you as a worker and your superior asks you to work day and night, you need to follow.

If you have a bigger land the chickens can be moved every few weeks by using a mobile or movable chicken house so it's cleaner.

You need a project manager or a foreman who is very strict and firm but can also communicate to the level of the workers. Someone who understands the workers and has the patience to train them also. Filipinos can learn quickly just find those with good attitude to be trained and get rid of the lazy ones. Construction work is mostly seasonal for the labourers in the Philippines so they move from project to project. Its not a permanent job so they tend not to care too much thats why they need constant monitoring. There are more highly skilled and dedicated workers from Luzon but more expensive especially those who already worked in construction jobs overseas. Goodluck and hope you find better workers. Lastly, you can ask for a discount just speak to the manager or the owner especially if you're buying a lot. This is common practice in the Philippines so just ask if they dont, then find another supplier who will give you a better price.

You should be much more strict with Filipino construction workers because they will take time and their work is so bad. Most of them are lazy. This is so embarrassing. I wouldnt say most but all of them!

This is Chie from Dial Eleven. Thank you so much for watching the video! I also deeply appreciate all of your comments. While I haven’t been able to respond to each one, I’ve read every single one. In this video, I focus on the "differences" that arise from the social and cultural backgrounds of each country, but there is absolutely no intention to discuss the "superiority or inferiority" or to declare "which is better or worse." Therefore, I kindly ask that viewers refrain from leaving comments that judge countries based on superiority or inferiority, or comments that reveal discriminatory attitudes. For comments that are excessively blatant, I may have to take actions such as deletion or blocking. On the other hand, if anyone feels that this video gives a discriminatory or derogatory impression, I would greatly appreciate it if you could point out in the comments exactly which part made you feel that way and why. As the creator, I would like to aware of my own shortcomings, so I’d like to learn from your feedback, reflect on it, and incorporate it into future videos. Finally, to all of you who continue to support me, thank you so much!

11:57 If Filipinos (who are intimately familiar with Filipino working culture) go ballistic under these circumstances, just imagine Japanese who are extremely time sensitive. He characterizing Japanese reaction as "explode" is rather restrained and polite

if the project supervisors are foreigners most of the time local laborers tend to KUYAKOY or kill time when no one's looking around. and after a payday expect them to be drunk and may come to work the next day late or don't show at all. and yet Filipinos likes to be like japanese, how ironic 😂😂 magbago na kyo mga KUPAL na pinoy, kupal hah wag ka umiyak kung dka kupal😂

probably paid in day-to-day basis and quite low salary, prolonging the project benefits them and low salary adds up to not do extra work and traffic, if they miss the timing for about 30 mins, they will surely having hard time going home like adding 30mins -2 hrs to their usual travel time. these are some of the considerations plays in ofcourse educational background is another but most likely the nature of pay whether contract or paid day to day, wage not worth of extending and facing traffic and cultural and educational background like filo definitely spend time with their family and friends and educational background the lack of good technique to be efficient and effective to work.

I am sure there will be a lot of offers for you after this project in the Philippines. Even Filipino construction/interior designing company will hire you. This is not an eye-opener. We, Filipinos are already aware of this problem from the start. If you are a company and hire people from the Philippines, just choose the right people with good records and pay them well.
