Punjab has zero desire to get modern industries. Every state in India is grabbing new industries with both hands but Punjab wants to stay as an agrarian state.

Punjab is now working towards industrialization. They know they need a bigger tax base so they are working towards inviting large scale industries. We will see some changes in the upcoming years. The infrastructure is already in place.

Thank you both. Only solution is to support the rightful freedom/azadi of Panjab and all its people all religions. It should have happened in 1947 yet there are Sikhs who never even talk about it yet they claim to care about Sikhi and Panjab. Without self determination Sikhs are experiencing the same fate as the Aboriginal people of Australia and the native Americans of US. Ultimately there is only one solution azadi/freedom and Sikhs must realise this. 🙏🏼

This is more about the opinions of the guys talking rather than voicing in representation of sikhs as a whole. With respect, these guys are young and their target audience would be of a similar age group and beyond too Its difficult for us born in the UK to really understand the diversity of the Punjabi social culture. The things you speak of are going on for sure. These are well developed techniques of Hindu dominated governance and administration that relies on social and cultural opression to gain dominance for the HHH objective which is basically a war of attrition. Bit by bit, slowly bringing in influence and making subtle changes that are far enough apart for them not to remain in the forefront and you grt to situations like a headteacher in a Punjabi school who cannot speak Punjabi. But people who benefits from this play, who see and partake in the mechanics. They befriend Sikhs around them take advantage of social manipulation opportunities to pacify them into a position where they can be dominated. Its a very common social technique in Indian society in the neighborhood and the workplace. The war against it is long and drawn and needs channels like BOS to keep People in the know. This is one of the biggest reasons why Sikhs need sn independent state.
