My husband and I were so happy to see you had uploaded a new video! We have missed you! This looks amazing. We are hosting Thanksgiving on Saturday and will be using an injection. This looks so juicy! I hope you and Mrs. Smokin Steve and family havve a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thank you so much for the kind words …. I’ve missed making videos and sharing them with everyone. Please do use this injection recipe along with the SPG and the mopping. This was the most flavored turkey I’ve ever had and I’m not sure what to attribute it to … Injection? SPG? Mopping? Or all of it? Really good stuff with sooooo much flavor. After you do it please come back and share your thoughts. Thanks again and Mrs SmokinSteve and myself had a wonderful day. Enjoy and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Steve, I’m an executive producer in the film and TV industry / actor and etc., since I was a kid. Whenever I’m looking at a new film or music project I think of two favorite words which are: “HAVE FUN” If I feel, I will have fun doing whatever it is then I do it. If not, I think about the next one. The word fun has a lot of power in it. Use it freely. 😀🙏🎸🌊🎬

@@W.Vanderbilt I had a BGE and liked the Akorn better because of the great temp control and the unbelievable efficiency. The Akorn may not be built as well, but for the price a guy can get several Akorns for the price of a BGE. The Akorn is a great grill/smoker!

Really appreciate your videos! When my Weber Genesis gas grill finally gave up the ghost, I replaced it with a Recteq bullseye deluxe. Just getting started, and am planning on a Turkey breast soon. One thing I am never super confident about is temp probe placement, especially on bone-in breast. Any suggestions?
@SmokinSteve3 ай бұрын
I always double check by probing in different spots with an instant read thermometer when inserted probe is getting close to temp or if it gets up to temp too fast because it is on the bone.

thanks just bought my first so good to get a video run through , one prob with mine is the power cord into the machine is not a good fit and fairly loose , 2 minds to send it back and get a replacement but a lot of hassle to do so from where i live , wanted it mainly at the start for jars but not keen on their attachment where u have to hold it over the jar attachment unlike the foodsaver which plugs in and unluckily the attachments dont seem to be interchangable

Stop right now and save some time - send this bike back within 30 days. My Turris has been a total lemon for an entire year. The company keeps sending me replacement parts that don't fix the problem (the motor shuts down). They refuse to replace the bike, as the consider this a "parts warranty," issue, not a replacement/refund. Cannot overstate how disappointed I am in Ride 1 Up - stand by your product. Buy an Aventon at this price point - way better bike, way better service.

Guys dont buy it. It is emnensely loud. The neigbours are able to hear this bloody thing. I innacurately asumed that it would have an element of churn mechanical chilling centric silence instead i got a very loud horsepowered blending machine. The cooling element entails the operator freezing the content or freezing the cups before use. Ive packed this thing up and put it in my car ready to be dropped off at the local Salvos here in Melbourne Australia. A very frustating experience ive effing chucked $300+ at this thing only to revieve a screaming mechanical kid......and it screams for 4 minutes. Save ya money. Just get a godamn quiter blender. Stupid Thing is Overated. Im feeling pretty angry.

When lighting the Akorn, the Weber cubes absolutely do not impart a waxy flavor. It would be impossible to do so.. Not sure what he's talking about. I've been using them for years. And you only need a half of one at that. Use what you want, just not fluid. And close down your dampers sooner or you'll to.will take off.

Thank you for your video, it was a godsend. I’m a 52 year old female with some bike knowledge and it took me about 3 hours to put together. Clearly Ride1up wants you to take it to a bike shop to be assembled. The most difficult parts were the fenders and the rear brake light for which one needs a socket wrench. It is possible but prepare to be sober and patient. I don’t think I would have been able to do it without your video.

One more question, Steve...You refreeze your ice cream in another container. Does it remain creamy when thawed out? It seems like you'd have to remix it once it freezes again. Is that not true?
@SmokinSteve5 ай бұрын
I’ve just been letting it set out and get soft enough to scoop out. It seems to be just as creamy as it was when originally made. I’ve done it both ways, remix and just let it set out. To me it’s a lot less work to just let it set out and it seems to be just as good. My experience with the remix is that it starts the whole process over again ….. powder texture, remix, add milk or other substance and remix again. Just a lot easier to let it set out and get soft enough to scoop. Lately I’ve just been leaving it in the original container to store and thaw out.
@kmichalene5 ай бұрын
@SmokinSteve ok. This is what I wanted to know. Thanks, again. I had half a container last night and stuck the rest back in the freezer in the creami container. I'll let you know what the texture is like from simply thawing it out rather than remixing.

The Turris specs include a rear braking light. My Turris came with something looking like a brake light along with the reflectors. Also, a wire and connector, which fit into the light, came out of a whole in the rear fender. But I could find no way to connect the light to the fender. This review, as well others I've watch, don't mention the rear rack at all. Anyone know how to attach the rear brake light?
