As far as I gather, this is a 2009-2010 car. Which is right around the time of the world crisis. It is well documented that cars made around that time are really bad in quality. I've had several VAG cars in the family and by far the worst ones are the ones made between 2008-2010. Older ones(04 Seat ibiza, which is basically a vw polo, 05 golf IV) and newer ones (VW Passat 2014) have been just regular maintenance job cars.

open oil cap and put oil cup on and if it will be jumping whan push on car gas than has blowby piston !

put on rubber glove for 1 $ coast in stead of that tester and try run car and if gloves will be full with air than gasket blown !

Be careful you don't snap your archilles tendon when pushing heavy vehicles

I've always strangely wanted one too, absolutely no need for one though.

The Hydrolic lifters are between the cam shaft and the valve stems, these replace solid push rods and are operated directly by the cam shaft the engine oil acts as a buffer between the cam and the cylindrical lifters.

Always remember to wipe the pressure plate surface with brake cleaner to remove the protective film from manufacture !!!

THOUGHT at 22 mins is-(might be 'was') that if there is brake pressure on the box, then it's change would be affected?? Lets see.

Went to one test place the guy said brakes ok. Very good I said. He then asked again BRAKES OK? Tyres ok? Lights ok? Turns out the guy was blind as a bat. He's dead now.

With an unsized engine. You can set the valve clearances sitting on a front wheel and wiggling your bum left to right.

My first company car was a 504 pick up truck I was on L plates and towed a trailer. Landscaping and gardening gear. We filled the rear with grass cuttings on a daily basis and I never knew it was fibreglass!!! Loving the content.

I would suggest in future you take photos of engines while in situ before you start to remove them or a component you are taking apart a picture makes it a lot easier. love your videos
