On the cloud? Why? That's unnecessary. In same fashion that Render Sequence (locks up Maya) vs Batch Render or aiKick (runs in the background) rendering works. What happens to that upload? Autodesk train their AI on it? It's sold some place? Suspect. Sorry but I have zero faith in corporations especially after the Adobe ordeal in recent months

Hey, can you help me? I've spent 2 days trying to remove keyframes from a clip in the time editor, and I want to return those keyframes to the main timeline. I don't want the keyframes to be controlled by the time editor. How can I do that?

What's the point of this? Nobody animates with joints.. When doing an arm setup you have either the IK or FK setup as a driven for those joints, but Maya only accepts joints as drivers.. This is such a confusing tool.. It works way better when using old school Pose readers or am I missing something?

3:10 for those who can't set a key in a layer. Yes i know, controllers should be added by default but no you have to do it manually.

@@gregorybennings8718 you need to add the controllers manually in the layer. It's an extra steps that gave me issues, i would have thought that Maya would add them automatically since you have your rig already selected.

@@kordaling I have a humanik rig. I click on one of the controllers, then I click on the clip layer, selected 'add selection' (as demonstrated in this video) and nothing gets added.

Bonus tools seem to be buggy. For instance the foot setup is not consistent and on my end, only works on the left side of while on the right leg, it breaks when running. I troubleshooted everything. - made sure that the joint orientation sis correct - controler names are correct - even recreated the joints and that did not work This is so frustratting. Faster to simply manually recreate the ik leg.
