I’m like 10 years late but imagine being so strong you get disappointed after missing a 1000lb DOUBLE so you causally decide to take it again

Always approaches the bar the same side. Never steps over the bar afterward. Always does three pre lifts before lifting. Awesome to watch. What a machine.

Textbook style reps excellent. I am thumbs-length close-grip bench presser and overhead presser.

9 years later I'm still watching this shit. That guy right there is a motherfucking monster. Seems you have calmed down considerably since this point which is understandable but whew lord this version of you is what people need to see when they ask 'What is powerlifting?'. Right here. You and George Leeman around this same time frame embodied this shit.

Pause the video at 2:47 and tell me why Eric isn't one of the top 5 P4P powerlifters of all time. 1052 pounds on his back and the most absolute perfect form is put on display. Pure squat motivation.

Close- grip anything is the best 😁. I like to rotate in same workout between close-grip( at the smooth) and Thumbs-length grip. It is my belief that these grips work all three heads of the triceps when incline-bench press is included in the same workout.

This man has ripped 900 pounds off the floor, with his bare hands, in a matter of two seconds. Most cannot even fathom performing such heavy of a lift. What just a frickin monster. The man truly is a freak of nature.

I don't get why you aren't isolating the chest and anterior deltoids. If you relaxed everything but your chest, triceps and shoulders, how many could you do?
