I'm always amused by how many pulls it takes to start a sthill chainsaw.

Hello, "Lee Stoffer" I was analyzing your channel and saw that in your channel have some problem, That's why your channel is not much growing and not getting much engagement, If you can solve these problems, Your channel will grow like a storm. If you tell I can tell these problems. Where can I tell? Here or email?

Thanks I'm not particularly concerned about how much engagement I get. Most content is for information and documentation purposes but if you have any suggestions buy all means mention them in a comment in case they are helpful to anyone else, thanks very much.

I just finished this job thanks to this video. I think I made a mistake though. I put the 2 strut nuts and bolts that attach to the knuckle the opposite way compared to the direction shown in this video. I'm I okay leaving it? Or should I fix it?
@LeeStofferАй бұрын
Hi, nice one, glad to hear it helped. I just replaced them the way they came out. If they are torqued up correctly and not fouling on anything I can't see it making much difference which side the nut is to be honest. That said I'm not a trained mechanic, maybe ask the tester next time yo take it for a n MOT if it makes any difference?

Great video very helpful indeed how to do this job. Its very annoying that when all these nuts and bolts where first put on the threads they did not have a little bit of copper ease grease put on them. Many years ago a garage I used for repairs the owner Mr Smith always used to put a little copper ease on every nut and bolt when he did repairs his philosophy was it could be me in 2 years time trying to undo the bolts again and it saves me time and hassle if nuts and bolts come apart easy since then I have always done this on any repairs I do on anything with nuts and bolts

Thanks very much for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it. Mr Smith was a smart fella, either way it's nice to pay the kindness forward to whoever it may be tackling the job next.

Hi Lee, thanks will make one soon myself too. Say can you tell me where i can get one of these knifes you using? The chipcarving one looks particularly interesting. Any website you can guide me to, in the EU ?

@LeeStoffer4 ай бұрын
Thanks Les, glad you enjoyed it. My mate Lee John Phillips created the logo for me. the angle jig is realy simple but very effective, I came up with the idea whilst thinking about writing the magazine article this axe block featured in. the footage was taken a good few years ago, just only got around to editing and publishing recently! That shavehorse was my first proper green woodworking project, made on a course with Mike Abbott 17 years ago! Hope you're keeping well. Cheers
