I don't know if I'm more impressed with the editing or the craftsmanship. Oh, i know, I'm absolutely blown away by the fact that you managed to make such a crazy mismatched drivetrain work. 11 speed Campagnolo Athena shifter with an 11 speed shimano 105 derailleur on a 9 speed MTBish cassette... Wow, just wow!

Pro restoration and nice footage. I’ve refurbished a few of these, sympathetic restorations shall we say and found them a bit of a pain to work on although I do love the bikes. Built like tanks and can carry a decent payload. I still ride one of my folding Stowaways regularly and I’m in my 50’s 👍🏼

This is the best 16 minute bike video I've ever watched on YT! The riding was definitely the icing on the cake. That's how these things should be ridden. Well done! This video deserves millions of views!

That's the Nitanium frame ! Probably just mostly marketing hype, but it IS good Ritchey tubing.

Love this, personally I would use new Odyssey twisted pc pedals with new hold fast straps.

From a viewers point of view, I personally think that your videos would be more enjoyable to watch without the stop motion transitions, and sound effects also background music

What wheels and bottom bracket were used for this. I am staring a project similar to this on a 70s Schwinn Varsity.

I had one like that when I was a teenager in the 1980's - took it to the park and shredded it until it bent and broke, then threw it in the river

Great video, and great reuse of a classic frame , I have a question regarding the Campagnolo shifters and Shimano’s 105 rear derailleur, how did you get them to index ?

Great job and filming. But I won't be changing the colour of my 1977 Holdsworth Record, maybe just the tyres,to make a gravel bike.:)) Nice to see at least one other Record though, will be keeping mine-as is :))

Brilliant! First one of your vids I’ve seen and as soon as it started I thought it looked like Victoria Dock village, but suppose it could be anywhere then boom, the flood barrier. Used to love riding round Hull, looks like great cycling infrastructure now, much improved. More of this please!

Yes. I’ve got a mid 80s cyclocross frame - fillet brazed by ‘Pongo’ Braithwaite under his ‘Aende’ name. Thing is CX frames have a rough time and good old steel frames are rare - especially as cyclocross was less popular back then.

That's an amazing restorarion and impressive skills. However, I liked much more the original paint.

Back in '78 I had a new Holdsworth 'Mistral' tourer in purple/white from the Holdsworth, Penge shop in South East London - indeed their SE warehouse from the 70s (now a lock up storage unit) is a 5 minute walk from where I now live... Did some serious mileage on that bike as a teenager.!
