What editing! wow. Things got real serious about 11 min with the paint removal and powder coating. I love those long drop bar grips have never seen them before.

Great video! I would have gone with a new set of MKS commuters platform pedals. Smart move on the crankset. Steel chain rings are the way to go because they last forever.

Thanks! I’ve just left it as a fixie for this, but everything is still there to add a front brake easily and I will when it gets ridden more. Safety first.

Love seeing these old bikes coming back to life . I have a shogun and a Raleigh both from the 80s and also a fixed gear new. There's something so real about old bikes. Great video thanks. Looks like you're running a tall gear there ? I ride fixed at around 60 gear inches , your looks more like maybe 75 ? . Happy riding

Bro you didn’t grease the left turn bolt on the doodad properly. Remember on 2.75 turns of the 5mm hex key is illegal in Grenada.

nice build! I think the chain line might be a little off though, maybe if you used a bb with a slightly longer spindle it would fix it!

I’d recommend not using grease on the bottom bracket spindle because you could push the crank on too far and either crack it or make it nearly impossible to take it off.

This is awesome and I'm doing exactly the same thing on a smaller budget, and I need to replace the wheels what wheels are these and what size rear cog did you use. This would help me immensely, I'm very new to this and wheelset sizes are driving me crazy. Thanks :)

it rly depends on waht kind of riding you do and what size cranket you are using. a 19t or 22t cog is a nice all rounder
