Brakeless Single Speed Raleigh Town Bike Build

I was given an old Raleigh frame and forks by a friend and decided I wanted to build a really clean Amsterdam inspired brakeless single speed.
The bike had been powder coated in a colour I liked so I kept it as it came, I gave it a clean and a polish to try and remove any scratches and scuffs.
I then ordered, mostly from, eBay everything needed to create the bike.
New parts were:
Bars
Wheel set (Front and Rear with a coaster/pedal backl brake)
Chain
Tyres
Bottom bracket, cups & cotter pins
2nd hand parts included:
Stem
Seat (I changed this to a white one for the final shots)
Grips
Cranks
Pedals
I cleaned, lightly restored and polished the old parts and built it together. Its great to ride, looks really clean and simple and the pedal back brake feels good to use and stops the bike well.

if you do not pedal on this bike on average speed it has freewheel too ? (brakes on engages while pedaling backwards?)

How do you stop if there are no brakes? Does it have a coaster brake?

Are you in UK? The bike will be illegal and liable to seizure by police in uk, and you will be held liable in any collision.

I've seen many many brakeless fixed gear bikes in London

@@SJMCycles It's arguably safer than a brakeless fixie since braking doesn't require a particular technique and a foot retention device. In any case, combining a coaster brake with a front brake device is strongly advised by Sheldon Brown, since coaster brakes, if less prone to failing than rim brakes, when they do fail, they just stop working alltogether ( generally in descents at speed ). Anyway, the bike is gorgeous. Nice work !
