It's by no means traditional, but it really does taste good in chili. Plus, it adds a nice textural element.

Thanks, I would say around 225 - 250° F is good for pulled pork. Hopefully that helps!!

I can highly recommend this. I made a bit of a mess with the bacon weaving so it didn’t look so perfect but don’t let this put you off. It was worth the effort as it tasted fantastic.

Making these today! Hopefully they turn out as good as yours look. About how much lemon pepper with the 1/2 tsp baking powder? 2-3 Tbl would be my guess.

I didn't really measure. But yes around that. Good luck, and let me know how it turns out 👍

@@firefoodz7109 Mission accomplished, thank you. They were not as crispy as I though, but probably best I can do without deep frying. My son said they had too much flavor, lol! My wife like them also and wings are not really her thing. I did not use your dipping sauce, we had some chic filet sauce and ranch dressing. Honesly, they wings were so good that sauce was not needed.

Whats the purpose of the cashews, and can I substitute something else for it?
@firefoodz71093 жыл бұрын
It adds creaminess and thickness to the sauce once it is blended all together. You can replace it with peanuts or just add more cream to the sauce, but it is not necessary. Hope that helps 👍
@habib58853 жыл бұрын
@@firefoodz7109 Thanks, ill give it a try with peanuts.

Cooking at 275 the entire time will get the back crisp?
@firefoodz71093 жыл бұрын
Yes, and you can always cook on a higher temp to get it more crispy, but make sure to follow the internal temp of the meat. Hope that helps 👍

How many wings did you make in this video? Have a kickoff party on Sept 4th and will be making tons of wings on the smoker so need to break out the ingredients to proportion. Thanks!
@firefoodz71093 жыл бұрын
They were about 40 wings (flat and drums) or 20 whole wings. Hope that helps and good luck on your party!!

You could try Turkey, smoked salmon/salmon skin (experiment you’ll find what you like) while not as salty or fatty you could add a little more fat into the mince.

I Sous vide finish on grill or in cast iron pan with butter and all win. The key is you stop under your target temp about 5 to 10 degrees or use an ice bath or both lol. I still have my torch and you can baste with butter as well all win with sous vide......
