For a lot of years I cringed watching hair KZbinrs because it was mostly enthusiasts and not professionals talking hair, and to me it felt like 7th graders teaching 6th graders instead of anyone asking the professor- like why weren’t world renowned technical haircutters the top hair youtubers since they were the top haircutters? Eventually I came to realize while I was bored watching a world renowned photographer gloss over specs, that I don’t come to KZbin seeking the perspective of the BEST photographers, I want to hear from the perspective of someone who is just like me except already has the gear or gig I’m curious about. In fact this realization almost made me quit talking hair on KZbin since I only can start from a technical understanding of how it works and it’s very hard for me to “dumb it down” and try to sound like a layperson chatting hair tips/trends, but with cameras I’m literally just an enthusiastic hobbyist and I legitimately have fun just talking about them- kinda more of the important ingredients for good KZbin content.

@@aseed89 water based product can be used as a pre styler. This will dilute the product, help it to spread more evenly. Then the heat can tend to break it down a little bit as well. The result is a more mild effect from the product so it isn’t so heavy

Unhinged indeed 😂 Half of them weren’t even considered for their actual potential as a real camera because I wasn’t looking for another camera when I bought them, I just got them as a stopgap for a video project and then sold them when the project was over. I guess technically the other half I owned were only OWNED by me for a few days at a time between purchasing them on eBay and selling them to my salon owner. So technically I’ve owned ten, but realistically I’ve owned and hung on to one
