Cant get it work.. left door

There is a cotter pin on the large spring of the Bowden cable that holds the spring back. Does this cotter pin have to be removed after installing the window regulator mechanism?

Does it have to bo even on that roll ?

Not easy it took me hour and a half not fun glad it's finished.

be careful as this is not the left door on a RHD car. Process is correct bur check cables are connectedin relation to the feet of the runners. I also had to adjust the sheath lenth on the longest cable to get enough slack to work

Are you sure this is correct as I can’t get the spool back in as you show as there are two springs in the white housings that slot into the motor plate. Am I missing something?

this is not the "left" side window regulator - this is the right side assembly! I have been looking at this video and comparing it against assemblies I have in stock and when I assembled one using the rails you have pictured it ends up being the passenger side and not the driver side! I assembled a driver side using this video and the whole mechanism is backwards! You need to reshoot this video with the correct rails! :(

Ok, I did get there, Can I just add at the final point of getting the wheel on its mount with both wires tight and in their groves, you will need to turn it over and rotate it at the same time, rotate to tighten wires.Helpful vid thanks

2 mistakes 1. The metal bar with the 3 plastik clips Have to be on the back site so the 2 holes for the screw look at you 2. The short side hast to be wrapped an the other side

its right window regulator(passenger), not left...

The link you have in the description comes up with an error message - do you have another supplier for the driver side regulator repair kit?

the video is ok, but no information how to slide the glass back into position :D
