A really nice and easy way to learn how to skateboard

This is really helpful but having a trainer teach you at a park feels kinda wrong to me. We used to teach each other new tricks and techniques. After all skating was still a rebellious thing to do in a small town, not something your parents send you out to learn as if it was music school.

Good video..I have just bought my first skateboard..I am 68 and love it...am pushing ok..find it hard to change front foot stance once on board..ok if I leave front foot pointed forward..so hope | can master that soon..cheers

I put Dominant foot on the nail facing forward and my other foot facing the direction the foot is at for example:right foot on nails left foot facing left

What about the kid in the pool full of water that was skating pools before Alva did. But full of water. They may have token it in the obvious direction , but real skateboarding was invented by the unsung ones, those who skate for fun, not to compete.

Hi Eric, thank u for ur videos... specialy this one.. i started cruising on a longboard last year, and 6 month ago, i saw ur video n i thought... yes, thats what i wanna do.. skate pools.. i never skateboard before n i m 36... went to the skatepark early in the morning to avoid crowd, n started to learn step by step trying to do what i saw on ur videos ... today i just can drop on small bowls n carve...stil not able to kickturn frontside, but i m having fun since the first day i started to skateboard.. still remember the fisrt time i was able just to pump a miniramp... so happy..smile on my face, same when i fisrt drop a small transition.. wish i could do carve grinds, n 50/50... well, just to say again thank u for the inspiration i had from ur videos.. i cant believe i had to wait 36 to discover that skateboarding could give me same fun n happynes as surfing did 20 years before... i m a father now, n i can feel i m having exactly the same fun as a kid... thank u !

I also have krptonic skayeboards and it still works just lose the The wheels it's better any ways that's cool I am 8 years old and I can do olie tail drop and a tic tac in a difrent way
