Adam Drake running gas truck... Feels like I'm home again, reading the latest issue of RC Car Action magazine.

Man, the XXX-NT was amazing back in the day. Those Boom pitboards are sick! I would love to watch a video on your thoughts about class evolution, from stadium, to short course, to why the mini-truggy class is failing to pick up steam, etc. and what classes you see gaining traction in the future.
@isaiahfurrow74142 ай бұрын
This would make a great video... and I think Mini-Truggy is one of the most fun rigs to drive, I hope it does pick up some more... my son and I are playing around with a new mini truggy since this event and it's been a lot of fun so far... it's a pillow ball mini truggy too!

Totally awesome video... That motor definitely does sing a higher tune than most... can't imagine hanging into that kind of power.... Please if possible , post your setup or what you can post easily, such as shock oils, shock mount locations, how much washers ypu have where and what camber link locations, etc... You had that thing ripping and looking pretty dialed mister... Cheers!

What's up man. Off topic but I got to ask. Do you still have your Losi LST2 you raced with? I'd love to see it!

With the resurgence of classic kits getting re released. Ive got my fingers crossed we see an rc10gt rere soon, followed by a new nitro stadium truck from all the big guys.

I hope mugen is considering making a gas truck .

I asked Adam that same question and they do not have one planned

I wish, but don't see that happening at the moment.

I really want to get into gas truck again..ignite seems to always be out of stock or discontinued conversions.

I got an ignite kit for my T6.2 and freaking love it! I believe i have the O.S. MAX .12 TG What a really clean conversion kit! Cheers Adam!

I would really like to know how to get the 3D printed rear battery box!

I'll try to get his contact information.

That smaller spur helps, takes away low end grunt of a powerful engine, pus it eliminates modding the rear arm, spur adapter and the trans spacer. I run 20%, do you think running 20% will help tame your engine?
@DirtConcept2 ай бұрын
I run the 30% for a crisper throttle feel. You can always turn down your throttle EPA.
@NicholsonNitroWorks2 ай бұрын
@@DirtConcept I know you had the rear battery box right?
@AdamDrake2 ай бұрын
Yes, 20% will be smoother on bottom.
@KacKLaPPeN232 ай бұрын
Heh, maybe you can convince OS to bring back the MAX 12XZ or an equivalent. The 12TG is a bit of a pig, but as you said the T1204 is massively overpowered, an in between would be nice. Did you add some shims to the engine? They usually come set up for 16% fuel, but maybe a gas truck doesn't beat on it enough to start knocking.
@NicholsonNitroWorks2 ай бұрын
Your right that engine can surely be tuned down
@AdamDrake2 ай бұрын
If the class was big enough and there was a demand, we would have a specific gas truck engine. I ran the stock shimming.

I guess thats what i wanted. Like i said, mine was un driveable almost when i took it out. But i dont have any weight in the rear at all.
@isaiahfurrow74142 ай бұрын
I'm debating adding rear weight again, but have my Ignites working decently well without adding much for weight... I had a brass block on the back of one of them for a while but removed it... I'm just stoked that I ran the entire race and finished still ripping , can't wait for the next one...
@DirtConcept2 ай бұрын
Add weight ballast in the rear and cut weight up front where possible until you have a comfortable traction level. I run 45 to 120 grams depending on the track conditions. Generally less ballast weight is better as long as the truck can put the power down.

@AdamDrake2 ай бұрын
The track was very big and being 2wd you've got to put the power down smooth.

@@AdamDrakeunderstood. I really didn't consider all the factors. Do you think a company will manufacture 19th scale nitro rc. Infinite only does a conversion. I mean an all out nitro
