What an excellent 3-part video with your very detailed how-to instructions!!!! Thank you for producing this. I have the same John Deere L130. When I am driving it around the yard for about 30 minutes, it also struggles to go uphill. After watching this video, I feel confident I can repair it.

You wouldn’t have issues with the J hooks if you would have set the anti-scalping wheels to the deck removal position. Which will set the deck slightly higher and removes the tension on the Jay hooks.

Based on looking at the videos on Amazon for 'anti-wobble hitch stabilizers', you put the 'anti-wobble stabilization plate' on backwards. If you turned that plate 180 degrees horizontally, then attached it, you would be correct.

I’m convinced that the #4 plug’s position on the head makes it a prime candidate for mist from a very wet road to kick up there. Being “ open “ on 5he end of the valve cover, water can access the hole that the 4th plug sits in. Our 2019 Encore was only 2 months old when my son and I were returning from a trip to the neighbouring town ( about 95 miles each way ). It was raining like a monsoon and we came up behind an older BMW with fat almost bald tires that was going about 25 mph below the speed limit due to quite a bit of water on the road. I hung back several ca4 lengths and waited for a straight stretch. I accelerated mildly and pulled out to pass him and the turd sped up when I was just about past him. The AWD and brand new Continental tires weren’t giving me any cause for concern so I punched it ( since you have one of these vehicles with the 1.4 litre you know that’s more noise but not too much acceleration. I got in front of him just as the engine went into a low power mode of some sort and the check engine light lit up. Within a few seconds everything was fine again. About25 minutes later we were on a long steep uphill with quire @ bit of water running down the lane we were in. The engine did the same thing and the transmission shifted down to about 3rd gear where this car usually does that hill in 5th or 4th. I took it into the dealership later that week. They pulled some codes and their computer showed 147 misfires in cylinder number 4, 48 in cylinder 3, 21 in number 2 and 1 in cylinder 1. The only thing I noticed after they “ repaired it “ ( I’m not even sure they did anything ) was that 5he coil pack was black instead of the light beige / yellow of all the ones I see on KZbin cars. Everything had been fine until my since that October in 2019 until this past February when my son had taken the car to that same town with about 2-3 inches of really wet slush and it did that same thing again. This car only has 47,000 kilometres ( about 28000 miles on it but I think I’m going to check the plugs and the coils but maybe not until I find a new coil pack just in case. I’m thinking of applying a thin layer of dielectric grease to the part otherwise plug above the treads and possibly in rubber boot and where the boot slides onto the coil pack. I’m pretty sure the heat of 5he engine vaporizes the water but the steam would get inside the rubber boot and maybe 5he coil pack.

Great video; right to the point. I could spend hours and a gallon of parts cleaner and my 455 will never be that clean ;-) Any way, because Permatex 51813 is supposed to be the Loctite 518 equivalent, I contacted Permatex about the intended use and they stated repeatedly that not only are anaerobic sealants such as 51813 are not appropriate as used in the video, they will not work with plastic. In the end, if 518/51813 works, keep doing it. Anyone with current/updated experience, please chime in. I'm personally leaning toward Permatex 85420. ETA: Went and talked to my favorite O'Reilly Auto Parts manager, and came away with Permatex 80338. Although it says it's made for auto trim, it is oil/fluid/heat resistant and made for joining rubbers and plastics to each other, and metals.

Had to replace the oil hoses on my 460 recently. I went to my local Saw Shop to grab the parts and asked him about this. He said it shouldn't need sealant when installing new oil hoses. And If it still leaks after installation of new hoses, either the oil cover plate or the tank itself is likely damaged.

@@Stratic1357 The two-piece oil hose design appears to have been flawed from the start. I agree sealant shouldn't be needed, but my 455 has leaked since I bought it, and the sealant helped. Even if it still leaked, my 455 has been good enough that I'm not going to abandon it. This is an extremely well produced video, and has a lot of helpful details. I wonder why you did not just cut the old belt off, and I wonder why you didn't put it back on in exactly the reverse order of the way you did, and I wonder why you didn't put those two new pulleys on after that instead of before. I can't be sure, but I believe it would have made putting the belt back on much easier. That being said, you never would have known about the bad bearing, so there's that...
@PilotViewProductions
@PilotViewProductions 18 күн бұрын
If I had cut the old belt off, I never would have been able to measure the new one against it to be sure I had the right length. If I couldn't get the new one on, I would have wondered if I'd ordered the right one. If I had started the new belt replacement by looping it over the clutch end first, there never would have been enough slack to loop it over the fan blades at the rear and I can't remove the fan without dropping down the transmission. Thanks for viewing and the compliments on the video.

Thanks! I have some things to check. My Stihl MS181C worked fine all winter. I fired it up today to cut some stumps, no more than a couple months after last use. It started and idled just fine, although until it had run a couple minutes, it would bog if I tried to give it any gas (just holding the saw). It pretty much refused to cut horizontally, either way I held it, bogging down almost immediately (if not sooner). Yet I bucked some test logs (cutting vertically), and it worked like a charm. Still would bog trying to cut horizontally. Fortunately, I don't have any trees to fell at the moment. What gives?

My almost identical equipped Aipas A2 Elite step-thru e-bike compared to Lectric XP3.0 - after only 6 mo & 450 mi on odometer reading got M5 display dead, i.e., not powering up when pressing the power button. Since the e-bike charging works, showing red-green light display on the charging cable adapter, it was almost clear that not powering up the control display is not due to faulty controller unit, instead M5 display is the culprit. So, contacted Aipas and they are mailing replacement display along with the connecting cables and control unit linked to it. It was somewhat fortunate that my e-bike is still under warranty, so no cost for the part replacement.
