Endgame is disgustingly bad, unrewarding and punishing... you get all your gear by trading and never finding anything useful... you get bullshit one-shot ALL THE TIME and getting XP punished over and over... citadels in endgame? What are those? Anyone seen one??? I see one raving video after another about how "amazing" this game is and well, it's the least rewarding game on the market, it has the least respect for your time invested in it and overall it's a chore... all you do is mindlessly play gathering orbs (currency) to buy stuff you need to keep mindlessly playing and never finding a single good drop on the floor... you essentially work all month so that you go to the store and buy what you need... yeah... that's a JOB!!! Not a game... and it's not having fun it's doing your chores!!! to get your allowance to spend on stuff you think you need to have fun only to be given more chores... oh and mindlessly gambling on a stupid system they jokingly called "crafting"... Sorry but these people are either paid to retain the zombie army of players playing this game or they have zero sense of what the concept of FUN is...

Trading is and always was a joke. It's full of bots, pricefixers and people who up the price of an item the very moment they get a whisper. Wish they implemented a ssf buff like last epoch did. If the trade and crafting is left the way it is it will end the same way a poe 1. People will buy from RMT/powerfarmers instead of just using their currency to craft anything worthwhile.

This is my first ARPG and I might never play another game again. I used to get my RPG itch scratched by Destiny 2 and honestly my mind is blown by how much more depth this game has with regard to character progression. The game is honestly incredible.

You never played POE1 or? wanting to know what did kill you... ah... that would be sweet but even in POE1 you most times dont know what just killed you and they never put in a log for that... so...

seems 4X more grindy, time consuming, microtransaction aggressive, and unrewarding than diablo4. Not feeling it after 120 hours.

Tried ED witch, failed at act 3. Tried frozen merc breaking ice, failed at act 3... looks like i need to play wizard or monk to earn currency for my failed builds...

Sadly the game always freezes my computer on start up and freezes it again after every hour or so. Made me not wanna play it again.

Imagine if you never loose the events in the map when you die, I'd keep running a breach map over and over for days. I'd just kill myself after every Breach is done. Now, that's the reason why they don't allow that to happen.

Ill come back when my game stops crashing randomly due to cpu usage becoming over maxed or whatever bug causes amd cpu's to do this.

About the citadels situation, maybe it’s because the full game or more parts of it are not out and they are doing it on purpose… it makes sense

This game is incredible, but I do really think all these super rich accounts were participating in RMT, GGG have had a pretty good security history and my mates have done plenty of trades through the official channels and never had an issue.

I'm not sure wtf is up with people these days. POE 1 is just as good or arguably STILL BETTER than POE 2, which to me looks like a pill bug, rolly polly, souls-crap game (yeah I don't like stupid soulslike games, really disliked that stupid delayed bullshit combat in Eldenring). Really dont understand thus mentality of the Ooo-aaah bullshit of hyping up POE2, when most of these people didn't even care for POE1.

hi force... just mentioning that there are no more on death explosions for about a week now :D There weren't any patchnotes there was "vacation" at GGG but i didn't experience a single on death mechanic since last weekend

I wonder if they could make it that the benefits on a map are only lost if you die during/after attempting them (since just leaving them after failed map runs would incentivize softcore players to spam die on a map with the mechanic to continually reset it and farm it ad infinitum).

i was told the trading thing is because players are using a third party trading platform to open the trade site in game and if u log into it they get ur info people in a discord i was in was saying do not use ur login information on the trading app

On pacing I guess they wanted the game to arrive at the mapping level .The "issue" is that the campaing is not done yet and you're trown on the endgame early being exposed too soo to something that should evolve slowly to what is the mapping experience.

The reason you lose the map mechanics on death is because if it wasn't designed as such then I could find a boss/irradiated/corrupted map, stack 4-5 tablets around it, make sure it has whatever mechanics I'm running on it like breach, and then I could just clear most of the map, die before actually completing it, and then repeat it forever. If you think the market is inflated now the timeline in which you didn't lose your map mechanics on death.

For me it feelt like Force been playing so many terrible games and justyfing that they are still good. So its no wonder u like a real good game. Thats just my Perspective on that and i kinda feel sad that so many focus is on bad games cause theres always a army defending stuff like that.

The trading should be in game and be ran like the currency exchange. The transaction is automatic. It'll remove the headaches and not require visiting a damn website outside of the game to trade for things.

I’ve got maybe 40 hrs in since Christmas Day. Started Monk, not for me. Switched to witch, better luck so far there. I will say that playing on console is a lag-fest where you have to turn off dynamic res, bloom, and resolution to get it half playable.

All the issues he talk about none of it include that u just one shot entire screens and 1 shot bosses like bruh...
