Last Epoch has really missed the momentum since releasing 1.0. Nine months between seasons is way, way too long these days, especially inbetween seasons 1 & 2. They really need to nail season 2. There’s too many ARPGs nowadays to spend time on if they bung it up.

Watching the Last Epoch section, the animations are dog shit after seeing PoE at the start. At 3:10 the characters head isn’t even there when using the bow 😂

11th Hour Games released a Last Epoch Season 2 teaser trailer last week. Season 2 releases April 2nd. Note: Grim Dawn's creator Crate Entertainment is a company of about 30 employees. I am not going to complain about them taking a year and a half to release the expansion. They have already held a 4h stream of the Berserker and all its permutations and other information.

Poe2 started great, but then turned into a mindless generic one button one shot kill game with thousands of monsters and loot. Biggest disapointment. But i have hope for no rest of the wicked and titanquest 2. For some meaningful gameplay and exploration.

I really wish seasons lasted a full year. I can’t play very often anymore, but me and my wife love playing this together on couch co-op. 3-4 month seasons I can never get far enough in to make it worth it. It really kills games for me.

Freaking loved Titan Quest as a kid. But for the love of god i really hope this "game asking you to slow down'" doesn't mean they will do what nowadays looks like the trend and what PoE 2 and No rest for the Wicked also did, that they turn ARPG games into this strange soft-soulslike montrosity. Freaking hate this trend. If i want to play top down games where there is no room for error, i will play bullet hell and twinstick shooter games. Project Pantheon: LoL Wolcen guys are doing an other ARPG after they comploetely screwed over their first game's fanbase and early access bakers, and after they totally prove to everyone how they have zero clue how to make an actual ARPG and how looting and gearing should work, and then just pulled the plug on the game and abandoned it? And anyone seriously believe these guys should be trusted with funding a new project of theirs? lol

I actually got rid of my xbox because of poe2. I was playing morning till evening, got nothing done anymore. Wasn't sleeping propperly, eating propperly. I was drinking coffee and smoking weed all day 😅😅. Best game I played but it also made me realise I needed a change..

I wish I had more excitement for these kind of ARPGs. I think decades of doing functionally the same thing over and over has run its course. I wish the best for all of you who still enjoy this type of game.

These ARPG’s are good fun, but I really feel like they need to start innovating on the genre. I’m over D4, still playing POE2, but probably wouldn’t try any others because they all feel very samey. Give us something unique with new mechanics and systems, expand on the genre and add survival mechanics, a more immersive world with better PvP options, and maybe base building and raiding similar to V-Rising. There is so much they could do to improve these types of games.

POE 2 BAD

One of the amazing things about Titan Quest is that they programmed it in a way that the graphics scale amazingly well and it looks great even today without mods, My friend's son is in the beta for TQ2 and he says it is terrific and the developers are super responsive and open to suggestions. Dragonkin came out of no where but looks pretty terrific even if they did liberally borrow from other games, but then again they all do. You should check out Reality Break it's quite something basically Diablo in Space and would be a good topic for an impressions video from you.

I bought diablo4 on release, was boring and stopped playing. Started playing in season 7 hoping for more content, game felt the same. All the hundreds of side quests are the same repetitive garbage all the dungeons feel the same, all the events feel the same, all the enemies feel the same. Sorry but it’s a boring game, how did we go from diablo2 which is STILL one of the best arpg games ever to diablo4 the most boring repetitive arpg i have seen?
