They can never do as good of a job as turtle wow. Therefore they should use turtle wow, and other private servers as a template. Again they should add ogre to horde and either blood elves or murlocs to alliance. I remember the anger people had when vanilla first released without ogres in the game. This is a chance to make amends. Also a rogue group of murlocs trying to become civilized and joining the alliance would be my cup of tea. Murlocs just have so much history in the game. If not murlocs then blood elves would work and be an easy add.

I'd love to have arena in the game, but no need to have any gear rewards just rating and maybe the titles. Just an optional minigame, no need to balance classes around it or anything. Vanilla is the best installment and arena is the most fun activity in WoW imo

Tauren should be able to be warlocks, any race that can be a Shaman lore wise could be a warlock since the original warlocks were shamans (ex. Guldan and his followers). Night elves should be able to be mages too Illidan was a mage lol

Please...NO worgen...no furries, no scalies. Stick to as close to Classic as possible with minor class tweaks here and there such as Paladin Taunt, etc. Then new content. A couple of leveling dungeons, maybe some 10 man "raid" content, a 20 man raid, then as the game continues on add new 40 man content. For gear how about lateral gear tiers with options that aren't in Classic? Like T3 Warrior DPS, T3 Ret, T3 Shadow Priest, etc. Unfortunately I see the "Collections Panel" as a monetization trojan horse. Store mounts, store pets, store toys, etc. I don't like Retail's glitz and homogenization but I utterly despise the flying sparkle rainbow ponies mount garbage. Just an eyesore.

I'll just repeat what i wrote last video. Nr.1 killer of any community, gaming or non gaming is anonyminy and interchangeability. Servers need limits, decent poolsize, but no interserver action at all! People gotta be recognizeable even when they're not your faction. This would keep more players in the game than any other decision imho. No phasing, no Layering, no crossserver anything.

I had an idea that I shared and got some pushback on, but I really think it's a good one on the topic of reputations. At 60, for players like me, a lot of the wind comes out of the sails once we no longer have a progression treadmill. Not seeing a bar go up makes it feel like a waste to kill mobs. I like the idea of tying experience to reputation, by giving you a free burst of 1000 or so rep that you can spend on whichever faction you want every time you level up after 60. You stay at 60 of course, and every level afterwards has the same amount of xp required, but now you can actually continue seeing progression in your character. I call it clout levels.

But as much as I hope for a good Blizzard Classic +, we have to be honest, this is no longer the Blizzard of the early 2000s, this is now a fu**** woke sh** of a company, how in any means we think they can pull something like classic + of? I think the most important question is: is the new game CLASSIC+ or SOMETHING ELSE than Classic. Giving new Race/Class combos I believe changes the game from Classic to something else. Adding a new zone, in the context of the framework of classic = Classic+. Definitely debatable, but I think some changes would make the CORE game unrecognizable, rather than just adding some (+). Examples of CLASSIC+ changes: Completing incomplete zones, completing unfinished dungeons/raids, completing content that was left on cutting room floor, adding lore-relevant items/questlines, adding new zones/factions that already exist on map, new world bosses, etc.

Although editing loot tables seems innocuous, I think blizz would edit loot tables at their own peril. Items and players road during leveling and what items they expect to encounter is captured in that "world" element I think we all know and love for classic. Changing that could be bad, at best maybe unnoticeable, very difficult to make that feel really good and not erode, RE: the power creep problem

The Kargoz comment of make changes that keep it feeling 99% the same? Then why even do classic plus? Why not change things and create new metas? Not to the lvl of sod at all though. You can change things subtly so that we can all experience new gameplay in our favorite environment. Otherwise it’s just warrs and priests and the same thing we have done twice. If you want classic plus to be era just go play era.

All I want is Vanilla Karazhan. Give me a 10-man raid and 5-man crypts dungeons. The actual dungeon is already in place, it just needs NPCs ported over.

It is great to see multiple Classic Andys agreeing on how classic+ would best be implemented. New Zones, new quest lines, new outdoor elite content/open world dungeons. We need places and storyline to explore. No new classes, no new races, no retail systems implemented or retail spells added. Don't try to over optimize everything. We need to expand on the world, not overwrite it or reimagine it. I feel like some people who don't really play a ton of classic have very surface level ideas for adding to the world. New classes would make zero sense. If you do that, you are changing the entire balance and dynamic of the game. It would go against everything we want to do expanding on the world. It would CHANGE everything rather than BUILDING on it. Also, I 100% agree that they should not change like, only being able to use entangling roots outside and no ghostwolf inside. I couldn't agree anymore, these are the things that give the game soul instead of just a fully optimized game for doing damage or whatever. Drives me crazy how people have ideas for Classic + but they completely miss the mark on what makes the game amazing. It's the same way retail is a soulless shell of it's former self. Also, in Lore's heavy handed approach and him saying "This could work" is so fucking insane. Nothing against him personally but he CLEARLY does not understand why people love classic. Exiles reach in vanilla? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Even his examples of a lighter approach are detached completely from the entire reason people love this game and what makes it so great. It's such a dumb "modern" take on gaming. we dont need tutorials. We don't need to test classes. All he's doing is trying to justify adding retail systems into vanilla. It's the antithesis of why this game is amazing. Srry for the rant but overall glad Melderon & Staysafe get the point of why people love the game. As far as I remember, Lore was an absolute turd towards the playerbase. Not saying he is lying, but I personally would never take his word for anything. The way Blizzard is and does things is the main stumbling block for WoW. Classic or whatever. They want to change things that worked just fine already. They want to bring in their modern way of doing things. Not needed. Classic already was way too sped up to cater to the needs of sweatlords, whether from private servers or just people who breeze through content. Keep it simple. Or rather Classic. On the animations, the modern ones are way too exaggerated and clownish. If they wanted new zones and storylines, they could make Uldum a thing. Not the Cata Uldum, it's not good (enough) for Classic, but the gates of Uldum existed all the time. Open them.

people always want to do too much. do classic, add a few zones to fill in the gaps, add a few lvl 60 dungeons and raids. stick to the classic model on gear additions, procs, etc. don't normalize everything. tbc is my favorite expansion, but classic is classic. you can't make it retail and call it classic. take dungeons/raids they have already created for later expansions, scale it down, add reasonable loot, send it. it wouldn't be a ton of effort/cost. class changes happened back in vanilla. rogue nerf, mage buff, rogue buff, mage nerf. every few weeks blizz made minor adjustments in damage values. that was classic
