There's no such thing as summer tires, those are actually all season tires. There's 3 types all weather, all season and snow tires. All weather have the snow flake where all season don't so you need to change all season to either all weather or snow tires. Personally I prefer snow tires over all weather for better grip. So when ever someone talks about summer tires disregard and think all season.

I got only 9,000 miles out of the front tires on my electric mini cooper. I bought the car new with Goodyear Eagle tires installed. I should have rotated the tires at 4,000 miles, but didn't think they would wear out that fast, so didn't even check them.

How many laps were run to calculate the average? Also, data on the time for each lap would be great to see in your full report!

I switched from Hankook RS4 to Falken RT660 to Nankang CRS tires. Huge improvements every step of the way. I can't wait for the new Hoosier 200tw tires!

Could the results be different on a smaller size car?? For example on an Audi A1 or on a VW Polo , may the 215/45/17 (8inch width) could be better than the225/45/17 combo?

Thanks for the great set of videos! I would love to see information about durability. We are talking about tires that really only shine on a track. aside from the 4s. Not many people would buy these tires if they were NOT taking them to the track, so that's a given. Most of us track rats would give up 1-3 tenths for a tire that lasts longer (e.g. 20% longer on these tires could result in another track day on the same tires). However, we wouldn't likely give up 1 second. So, since the top tires are all very close, would be great to know what lasts longer. Some before/after tread depth measurements would have added some great info to this video, as well as the relative wear across the tire. For example, did some of the tires wear more on the outer edges? Side to side wear on a tire like this is very important to a test like this, as that's one of the things we all deal with if using this class of tires for track/street use.

I got them today. Live in Canada and I am looking forward to seeing how they do with my AWD SUV. Lots of Autumn rain and snow here in the next 6 months

I found CR-S to be confidence-inspiring and generally very precise, tyre that is very progressive and easy to catch when sliding. And it does like to slide in a good way. The only negative is that it takes a few laps to turn on but when it does, you can torture it for a long time.

I went to SCCA Solo Nats in Beeville this year. I had the Falken RT660. Everyone else in my class was running the Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS. I finished last. Got a set of the Potenza's and immediately jumped up to 3'rd in a regional event.

Dear tire rack. Can you do a test for the M2 star rated tires as well? These are the Yokohama Advan 610 or 710 and the Michelin PS4S

I wish they would test the tires against the OEM BMW Star tires. BMW Star tires are not your normal tire you buy. The Michelin PS4S is a mix between a regular PS4S and a Sport Cup2.

I have bought this tire for a 4Runner and a Wrangler. They are a good looking tire, have a lot of sizes and loads available and something I like is that they offer OWL on most sizes. Interstate speeds I notice some noise and they are not great in rain at freeway speeds IMO. The siping is not as good as other A/Ts.

i recently got the cooper pro controls for a 98 honda crv and so far i like them, at 107$ a tire it was definitely worth it

AD09 seems like the do it all tire if you're realistically going to hit track a few times per year.

1) Those tyres dont seem well suited to a wet track. 2) The way a car feels is VERY important, especially after many laps or during difficult sections of a track. Absolute grip isnt everything.
