Weston, really enjoyed this video and your creativity with the song and the instruments ( percussion) . Also cool tip on how you tuned the guitalele to standard guitar tuning!

I was an acid-dropping, long-haired hippie from 1969 through 1974. During those years, Boulder was the center of Hippie activity for the whole country, for after the 60s, the Height/Ashberry movement basically moved to Boulder. "The Hill" was hippy central, where hundreds of us hippies hung out every night, then hike up into the mountains to sleep under the trees. It was such a blast! Long hair, colorful clothes with long beads and peace signs, music, and of course psychedelic drugs were EVERYWHERE. I'm coming back to Boulder next Spring, and your video is highly reassuring and helpful. I was already wondering where I will park, and what might be left of the old hippie movement.

Have you considered using the fridge thermostat to switch on/off the inverter to save power? There are plenty of videos on this but basically you add a 12v control circuit via the thermostat to switch a relay on/off, the cable behind the power button is broken through the relay and controlled via the thermostat. The compressor is fed directly from the inverter. The inverter will only consume power from the battery when allowed to by the thermostat which is roughly on 6hrs in a 24hr period.

What was the temperature like outside through the night? Also I’m assuming you didn’t run air conditioning at all through the night.

Okay I knew it's been a million years, but I just got these Acquila strings that are specifically meant for the EAGCBE (I think? I play ukulele, Ionno) tuning on a guitalele, and was thinking of how you could have used them. Hope all is well!

Can you tell me how many watts this fridge draws according to the specifications? I'm looking at installing a slightly larger one and I'm wondering how it compares. Mine says 67 watts. I googled it, but can't find the watts..

The more full you keep your refrigerator the more efficient it becomes if you don't have food to fill it fill it with bottles of water it helps to maintain cool temperatures on the interior.

Ive had a Avanti 12v fridge for 10 years it works off both AC/DC it went from a truck to a popup camper to a room rented for work and into a shed for beer. After 10 years it just stoped working. I found a bad fuse but havent fixed it yet. No matter what fix or not it was well worth the 100 bucks I spent on it. I think this would work much better with your set up and save your battery life. I havent read all the comments but a deap cycle battery would help with your solar system
