That's a lovely looking game. I like the different interactions and melodies with different objects, and different themed rooms. Makes it very unique.

Thanks for comment and you'r right, it would have been better to show both as OCS version. The new Flying Shark is an OCS game and I don't notice any difference when played in OCS/ECS or AGA versions. So the game looks and sounds the same as in the video with a standard Amiga 500 1MB memory. Promising... 👍

@@retrogamingdino ah that is great. Maybe I missed it. From the video it only looked like AGA. that was made me frown a bit as the graphics was a bit downscaled still. Same with the framerate. I guess they locked it. So if it’s a normal OCS and it looks like they are going for 16 colors and it runs 25fps that not to bad at all. So yeah as you say promising then :)

I cannot make judgements about the mentioned games but generally I would say people should be happy if they get something, even if they think there were better games with lower requirements in the past. People should not forget that at that time teams of full-time developers were on that projects and that those devs cursed the need to get it runnable on A500 with disc drives... Who not wants to use something should simply not download it

@@olafschonwei6420 true but there are more people who own an A500 than people who own an A1200. I love to play (and pay for!) new Amiga games, but I only have an A500. I'm just wondering why almost everyone seems to be targeting the "high end" Amigas instead, even if the game obviously doesn't need it (from a performance or graphics POV, for example)

Yes, the game looks most like Roland on the Ropes, also known as Fred, appeared on Amstrad CPC, Spectrum, and C64. Another similar game is Kazik and the Ghosts for the Commodore 16, Plus/4 which has been the model for this game and of which this is an enhanced edition.

The rules page (gkanold.wixsite.com/homeputerium/copy-of-rules) has some criteria from point 9 onwards that lead to points or demerits. Otherwise, the scoring goes according to the judges' assessment of how good the game is in their opinion.

All machines have their own characteristics, but Amstrad's games really look colorful and good. A few games also have really great music, I especially liked Prospector's intro music. 👍

I suppose if it all fits into ten lines then it's okay. But I don't know for sure.

Sometimes it's 9½ lines of data plus ½ line to execute it.

In most categories of the BASIC 10Liner contest, compiled BASIC programs are allowed. Maybe the entries you are referring to are compiled programs. For example, in my ZX Spectrum entry (BooMFire) I used the multi-platform ugBASIC compiler.

Olá e obrigado pela pergunta. Quer dizer qual é a resolução do Amiga 1200? É um pouco difícil responder quando diferentes resoluções podem ter sido usadas nos jogos. A resolução é diferente na faixa PAL e NTSC, mas na faixa PAL pode ficar entre 320x256-1280x512i, caso o modo overscan não esteja incluído. Espero que tenham gostado do vídeo, há muitos jogos Amiga em desenvolvimento e chegando. 👍
