I am glad you have a large family. The Lord has --and does-give humans free will, but those choices have consequences. God is the omnipresent; omniscient eternal creator. He is not a democratic superbeing. What he created cannot be changed or negotiated away. As such, whether it hurts many--or few--or none--a choice against what God made--male and female--will not be accepted. You will meet the creator--God--and it won't go well. Why this is resulted from the fall....the fall was complete. I pray that you think again and if you still wish to keep your decision as it is, then so be it.

Who couldn’t Love you. You are so respectful towards your family and the church. I wish you nothing but pure happiness. The fact that you gave dating of females a chance and realized who you are and who you were attracted to did your life and the young ladies life honor. You see if you married a female you would have been trapped in a life of grief. I admire you. Peace and comfort be yours…

I was raised in the church, as well. I was disowned when I was found out. It’s a Long story, some of it hilarious and some of it devastating. I totally get your journey. There sure are a lot of guys that have a religious family and come out. The results very wildly from embracing their child to total rejection, which I experienced rejection. Thank you for sharing.

After 78 years of life, I can't even begin to count the number of FORMER Mormons I have come to know---most of whom are gay. That religious cult seems to be losing members faster than they can replace them with the god-awful number of kids they keep bringing into the world. Has anyone ever pointed out to the Church of Latter-Day Saints that the world is already so over-populated that it is struggling to provide the natural resources for those who are already here.

If two mormons can produce 19 grandkids, how come their numbers are not expanding very much? I guess most Mormon kids eventually reject the religion.

As a straight man, you definitely don't want to date women. You don't want to deal with them complaining, taking your money, & all their man-hate. I wish I was like you. No man chooses to be straight.

I have 7 children aged 15 to 34 and 22 grandchildren. I'm 49 and my wife is 48, we were raised Mormon and had our first child when I was 15 and my wife was 14. The period of our son's birth was quite traumatic as we were shunned. We went through a lot together and by 19 we got married and have been together in the Mormon church still to this day. My son who is 23 recently told us he is gay. We already knew he was - as parents we saw he was fem and liked girls as friends. We love him unconditionally and said we'd never leave his side. He cried and hugged us and said he was scared we'd disown him. He tried many times to harm himself, but we put it down to teen stuff, but it all makes sense now. I've spoken with the bishop about it and told him in no way will I disown my son and if the church shuns him then they shun us. I'm a social worker and a lot of youth go through things of which I am the one to work with them. I always say to them that they need to go out in the world and experience all the things like drinking, smoking and relationships but then I say, its my advice but they need to listen to their parents and not me.

Let's populate the world with more Mormons. It has got to be hard for you growing up in the mormon faith. CONVERSION THEARAPY!! That will work? Most Mormons don't except you for who you are. You cannot seek God in most instances in that inviorment. To them you are going to hell for that. ❤ T ❤ I wish you well😊😊😊❤

I look up to missionaries and don't understand them using drugs. It seems like a betrayal of faith to me. How do some talk about it like it's just a thing in everyday life? It lets me down about them totally, like falling into a bottomless pit that goes all the way through the earth or something. And the nerve of someone you don't even know coming to your house and telling you about it! And in the name of the Lord? Surely not.

There are always a minimum of two sides to most issues. Here in my area of SoCal ~85% of voters are Democrats. They support allowing males self identifying as females play female sports. However ... when they found out this would include the use of female locker rooms, showers and bathrooms -- especially those with school age females -- they were concerned. When males began playing on female teams, winning then receiving scholarships, awards, etc. thus preventing female athletes from the scholarships, etc. they became more concerned to say the least.
