love all your videos TGM. informative without being patronizing. could you please paint the tab at the rear of the seat, the silver against the black fairing hurts my eyes 🤣. I did similar with a seat, just used 'plasti-dip'. still on there for 8years plus.(don't intend to insult you)

Shouldn’t you bleed the air out of that line?
@TheGingybeardMan
@TheGingybeardMan 12 сағат бұрын
@@andymike6575 how do you propose to do that? The line fills up with oil when the bike is running then the oil drains back into the engine when the bike is off meaning there would be air in the line again.

@TheGingybeardMan

@@davidmurray9193 I just used a cutting disc on a grinder to remove it and then used a grinding disc delicately to get it smooth. The paint shop then used some body filler to smooth out where the tab had been removed.

@Dirt_Serpent
@Dirt_Serpent 7 күн бұрын
@ I’m not sure about the 09, is it still a 40mm? With the 06 all I needed was new throttle cables to go with the carb. You’ll also have to take the boot on the engine side and cut off the tabs that the carb key slots into because they are in different places.

Generally speaking, I’d say an Evo is the best sounding. That’s true at idle in this video, but under acceleration or deceleration, the M8 in this video sounds better than the other two. The M8 doesn’t have the like of the other two, but once they’ve warmed up, they sound really good at idle.

I had the 2000. Try this man. 13 tooth front and a 48 tooth rear sprocket. I could pull 200+kph probably close to 220kph. Used to annoy all the XR boys. Was still awesome in the bush. I had it in Gove in the N.T. Check out the first video on my youtube channel. There is a 2002 WR250, a 1999 WR400 and a 2000 WR400 that I converted to MX by removing all the lights and blinkers. Really great bike. Beware, it was all filmed on VHS 😂
