I still do despise, and will always despise the cp changes. Especially to the frigates and destroyers. They stright up nerfed the new players.

I feel like the devs have no clue as to how to balance a game. They made energy damage the, "premium" from of damage. And then have most of the ships doing energy damage, have more straight up damage numbers than most physical damage ships. Something like the Io I can understand, because it is a front row evasion tank. But Something like the Chaos conomara plasma having 40k straight energy, and having something like the base ranger, or jeager antiship doing far less???

@Phage- yeah I 100% agree with you. It is a lazy way of balancing and the premium for energy damage should be lower damage ranges then physical I feel.

I prefer the mare I ion over rail gun because it's dmg. I have a solid frontline that keeps those ions alive long enough to to really good dmg.

The CAS Aux is still more CP efficient for healing because of the "Speed-Up Repair" strategy along with 3 repair efficiency upgrades (1 with system adjustment) and 2 RTB upgrades. Noma support is no strategy (at least not a good one) with 2 repair efficiency upgrades (1 with system adjustment) and 3 RTB upgrades. So fully upgraded the Noma is a little bit behind the CAS in terms of healing per minute per CP, however, since you can also get an upgrade for cruisers to reduce CP cost by 2, that drops the CP cost of the CAS to 16, making it the even more efficient healer.

@Damphyre ,Take in to account for future videos that The premium Battle pass gives Angulum Pass now, And in Angulum you use Edicaren and Whale without the Reinforce.

im quite surprised Mare Ts missile and torps interception was not mentioned, the secondary weapons 25% interception on missile and torps sound notable, if you have more than 6 in your mid row or back row it sounds like those rows have blanket protection from those weapons

Isn't the strategy of the Mare Imbrium Railgun a "once per battle" thing????🤔 If so, I doubt it can change rows constantly...

I think you are right. It says in the description of the strategy it is only once pr battle. Only that it will retreat further to the backrow if the health falls below 10%. This might still be enough to justify its rating though (? )

I love reliat, i use the stealth variant.. i tried though the combination 10 reliat torp + 10 imbrium railgun both maxed and their dmg output combined was nowhere near close to xeno... Xeno rules!!

Agree on the uselessness of trying to take control of cities. We tried a few days ago. At the moment this is impossible even if you have maxed out Noma siege. You can moor max 22 fleets to the city, but it will take a lot more time than the 2 1/2 hours you have before it times out.

Xeno is still amazing for me because i don't have anything in the S-tier, and only the Xeno in the A-tier

I'm still using more or less the same frigates. Just fewer Ruby Ion. Don't underestimate habit! Also, when you know how a ship behaves inside out that's more valuable than 2 ships = the same CP with nominally same damage as the preferred one (Reliat Stealth/E Torps). BTW, curious about Aldabra. Is it really a valid Taurus replacement -- lack of dodge is the elephant (or the bull!) in the room.

for aldabra my findings are now that it is on par with Taurus after the CP increase, they tank about as well and the damage to CP is about on par now as well.

NOMA healer is the best per CP only for healing small number of big front-row ships, like Spears. If you put NOMAs in destro/frig fleet Ceres would outheal it easily.

Mare Imb is better than Ruby Ion because of the strat for the first two minutes and higher attack damage.

Are anti air ships now good and diverse enough to do a tier lost just on them? WH top dog, but in addition to Mare T we now have Ceres Support, Guardian Support, LC, Tarus B…any others?

@EarendilStar I think I did a tier list on them. It's probably not too far off what is still best in slot. I would say though that only the very very top AA ships will be able to replace carriers in your fleet in the early to mid game. End game when solar whales are the reinforce though... yeah nothing will work there you will still need some fighters to compensate.

Base Ranger was very good before the update. It's hitting midrow consistently so all taurous and eris retreating were as good as dead, now that we are not seeing this kind of frontline is not really of use. And again ion variant falls very behind on dmg in comparison with io/chaos
