I just bought the '24 and it has a key which I really like, also really like the simple dash display with speedo and tack and gas and temp gauges, I highly recommend getting the factory bed liner kit, fairly easy to install, vs the spray on bed liner offered at the dealer, also the radio is absolutely terrible re fidelity, bought after market speakers that are very high quality, still sound amazingly flat and lifeless, and I can't find an aftermarket radio that will replace the factory one.

How much does it takes after booking to receive one currently from company? Help Appreciated..!

Been a Ford owner for many years and it is now time to switch. Our city has EV charging stations outside of restaurants, malls, etc. but the line to charge is always ridiculously long and sitting in my car for 30 minutes in 100+ degree heat to wait for an available charger is out of the question. When we travel we take state highways instead of interstates to avoid traffic and guess what, there are no charging stations for hundreds of miles. Good-bye Ford.

Given that the waiting period for either car is likely to be several months if not longer, it wouldn't hurt to place a deposit, order the Corolla of your choice and wait it out. It probably wouldn't get delivered by the time the final specs. and prices for the Civic Hybrid are released and you could decide then which one to choose. If you went with the Civic you could just cancel the other order and get your deposit refunded.
@joz17658 ай бұрын
The civic looks sporty and stylish? Umm, it looks more like it got punched on the nose and has swelling (front honda badge area) and it looks boring. The civic’s wheel base looks way too long. At this rate Corolla looks zippier and is the best looking car.
@AutoInari8 ай бұрын
I agree that the rear of the Civic sedan looks a bit too long. That's why I like the hatchback version better. That said, the Corolla is a handsome, classic design...especially with the slight refresh to the front end.
@0bzen228 ай бұрын
Civic E:Hev is objectively better overall, but it's gonna be more expensive. I have a Corolla Hybrid Touring Sport, it's great too. But it requires you to adjust your driving to get the most out of it. The Civic would be a more straight forward car. The fuel economy should be about the same.

Great small truck. However, greedy, dishonest dealers who mark-up the prices of new AND used Mavericks, FoMoCo should NOT deliver ANY Mavericks to them AND revoke their dealership license. That should stop this immoral and despicable practice by unscrupulous dealers.

So this is just an advertisement for ford. I have a new 2024. So far I like it after 3 weeks. It has AWD and the only thing I don’t like is that the 8 speed transmission seems to have a little gear noise. I wonder if it’s just mine or are they are all like that. Engine is a little noisy on the outside but very quiet on the inside. Can hardly tell it’s running. I don’t like the auto start and stop so I turn it off each time with the press of a button. I also wish it would start in Econo mode which is all you need in most circumstances. I do pull a very small camper. This car came with a hitch and 4 flat plug. I thought it would still be rated for 4000 lb. It’s not and the hybrid is not good for towing at all. If you want the 4000 towing capacity make sure you get the tow package. Otherwise you’re limited to 2000 pounds. You can’t get the package after you buy the car. With the towing package you get a 7 pin plug. Thats how you know you have the towing package. You also get a brake controller larger radiator and transmission cooler. I got lucky because my trailer comes in at 1800 pounds. I did get an after market brake controller from my RV dealer. It took 2 hours to install with 7 pin connector. The cost was $430. I wish people would stop showing advertisements and give out real world information. If I had known what I know now I would have made sure I got the towing package. It’s worth it at $750 even if you don’t tow.

EVs are the future. For the simple reason that everyone can make their own electrons but only a select few can make your gasoline. Simple as that.
@specialkonacid65749 ай бұрын
What meathod are you using to make electrons? I have a wood fired steam generator 😀
@bmw8039 ай бұрын
The problem is that EVs aren't for everyone yet. Unreliable infrastructure is the main problem. Shit load of pickups are sold for high prices and it doesn't bother buyers. Then, technical problems such as cold weather, towing limitations , etc. So, can we just allow shit to mature instead of turning into a political shit show
@dagnabit20209 ай бұрын
Agree infrastructure is the main issue right now but that just got a big investment. Three years from now things will look much different after those investments start coming online.

Ironically initially cars were mostly electric before the combustion engine took over. And even more ironic the electric engine was its own demise. Combustion engines used to be hand cranked to start them up which lead to a lot of serious injuries like broken wrists. That kept the combustion engine from taking over. But with the electric starter motor that problem went away. Also I think a good strategy would be to not design EVs with such ugly looks. Its almost all of them. They got so much freedom in their designs and they seem to mostly chose very ugly ones. I dont understand why. Just look at the back of the Ioniq 6. What were they thinking.

ford is the answer. the money for the other goes to another country. even if its assembled else ware the money stays here. for foreign vehicles even if its built here the real money goes to the country of origin. this is why I only buy Detroit steel.
