I mean Shadow doesn't hate Sonic. He finds him a bit annoying at worst (which I personally totally get as an introvert. I wouldn't like having someone like Sonic constantly bothering me), but he still respects his strength and his conviction.

Fun fact About espio and Silver, in Sonic Rivals 2 Silver and espio team up to save future from eggman nega. This is where the ship originated (before the IDW comic) because originally eapio had to look for evidence that silver was kidnapping the chao, but he discovered that silver was taking them so that nothing would happen to them. and that's why eapio ignore all his friends (even vector) To help Silver, he even stole and fight Sonic and Tails to help Silver, because they had rings that their needed to continue their search for chao and eggman nega. And the main reason for his ship is that Silver tells espio that he was the reason he was able to save his future, more so because it was eapio who defeated Eggman Nega because Silver was exhausted.

Tails always seems like he would end up with someone that would have a massive chaotic energy. ShadAmy. It's even hinted at his first game, Shadow may very well be reminded of Maria whenever he interact with Amy and even on the Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, he really goes out of the way to try to get something special She would like. You can also infer to SOnic and the black Knight when you consider Shadow's and Amy's role.
