Hello friends, I have a question and I hope to get an answer. I have an emco SL lathe. I want to make an aluminum flywheel. What is the largest flywheel I can make on this lathe? I mean, for example, can I handle a 2cm radius round aluminum alloy and turn it into a flywheel? The point of this question is can this small lathe handle this size of alloy?

I am doing maintenance on my 505. I noticed you didn't grease the bearings on the crank or grease the gear teeth. My first instinct is to grease these with high temperature ball bearing grease to reduce wear. Should I avoid it? What damage could I cause if I do?

Hab ich noch nicht ausprobiert, könnte aber funktionieren, soweit mir bekannt sind die Geräte im Grunde Baugleich, und der Zugriff via Putty funktioniert definitiv.

As far as I know, there is no option via the hub. But there is a hacked Mi Home app that allows you to use everything.

Does it mean I will be able to hook up either eu and Chinese devices seamlessly wit hub flashed like that, or it just makes Chinese hub to an eu and I loose capability to have Chinese devices paired? Meaning i have got some devices that are not exposed to eu servers eg. Aqara a100 pro lock. I know there are other versions available but I already have the pro version installed for quite some time.

hello, nice video. Having the same problem but still can't connect. Tried step by step to connect Xiaomi app with Xiaomi phone. Had this problem after I tried Aqara app and made an upgrade for m1s that popup me. Want to go back in Xiaomi because has more feature, like induction with motion sensor that can't see on Aqara app. Could you help me.

Sicher besser als Proxxon Geräte. Vlt mit Ausnahme der PD400 wobei auch bei der viel Plastik dabei ist… Hatte früher eine PD250 und jetzt aber auch eine Unimat SL. Diese besitzt MMn eine höhere Steifigkeit als die besagten Proxxon

@@maximf.5537 schon möglich, bei mir fängt Drehmaschine so bei der Emco Compact 4 oder 5 an, eben Prismenbett. Sonst gibt es für Kleinzeug auch schöne wertige Uhrmacherdrehstühle, mit einer zentralen Wange. Die sind aber eben leider eine andere Preisklasse, das muss man auch bedenken.

To control the laser I use LaserGRBL, to edit DXF and create SVG I use LibreCAD, to convert bitmap to DXF I use convertio.co.
