I was watching Charlotte's Web with my granddaughter and heard this song when the credits started to roll. I had never heard the song before and saw the Gabe Dixon band in the credits. I have sent this link to all my kids for a positive song. A very moving song!

He sounds brilliant, as always but her voice sounds awful. Total mismatch. Great lyrics

Admittedly, the way he's flirting with her in this movie feels a lot like sexual harrassment / stalking, but Broderick really can sing

For a TV movie, this is incredibly well done and worthy of a then theatrical release.

This version really did a fantastic job of capturing the same vibe of Disney classics like Mary Poppins… but boy is Broderick bland. There’s ten times the emotion in his dancing than his singing.

I like Mathew Broderick, but he really should not have tried to reprise Robert Preston in this role. By comparison, Pickett had a successful charge. I cringed seeing this.

Honestly, I do feel kinda sorry about Charlie. We have no real idea what kind of person he was before being tarred and feathered, and the experience was obviously psychologically painful for him if he still blames Hill for it. He probably was convinced that he was warning his colleagues about Hill’s dishonest tactics, only to be met with ridicule and made to look like an idiot for realizing the guy he was talking about was on the train the whole time

Robert Preston is Number 1 but I like what Matthew Broderick did . Seth Mac Farlane has performed songs from this live and he is good but he hasn’t done a full feature of course

This is embarrassing it’s so awful. Broderick is so uniquely untalented, it’s hard to believe anyone would hire him to even hose down a driveway let alone act.

Matthew Broderick is ridiculously untalented. It’s hard to watch this guy. To have the Gaul to take on this role is a testament to his narcissism. Shockingly awful. .

Please get out and vote. It's got to be too big to rig! Don't let them decide who is president just based off of 12 blue states that have a large electoral college. The rest of the states are red or purple because these are the people who don't identify with the liberal elite agenda and actually want secure borders, trillions spent in the US instead of foreign wars, decrease the homeless population, and to be actually afford supermarket items once again.

I may be the odd one out, but I actually prefer the song in this key. While I recognize that the original requires a lot of vocal strength and talent, to me it can come across as grating and screechy. I think the emotional quality of the song is much better represented here.
