Do you have some materials about driving physics and how to implement it ? (a bit of source code? :) )

Something you said in an earlier video is ideas for new power components, as a programmer I would say stuff like factorio’s circuit system would be cool, as it allows the player to have almost full control over their base.

One thing thats missing is some body roll: have the car lean back during acceleration, forward during braking, side to side during corners. Should greatly improve the feeling of the car.

About Drifting I known, every object has two frction. kineticfriction(for sliding surface) and static friction(of course not sliding face) generically static friction is more higher. if car wheel rolling as car speed, wheel roll whitiout slip(at whell touch ground point). so wheel has (powerful) stop friction and it make stop slip sideway but wheel is slow or stop rolling(commonly use break) wheel is slip with weaker kinetic friction, than car can more slip sideway and rotation more wide range.

I loved the video! I started making a game like this but I couldn’t figure out how to make it fun, so I’m taking notes (don’t know if I’ll ever push myself for 6 months to finish it though 😂)

I'd have to look for the exact setting, but mainly it's about spawning the trail renderer points in world space

Wow it looks great. The creation process also seems to be fairly smooth, which shows your experience and expertise with the tools. How long does it take you to create this game from start to finish?

So good to know there's other people who don't know about car physics as well! Gosh, this helped me out so much. Thank you very much, Pascal! Amazing video, and an amazing demonstration. Really appreciate that you shared where you learned about arcade physics.

The first floor shouldn't have the gate around the stairs so more experienced players don't have to hunt down all the enemys on the floor.

I had a lot of fun playing it. I liked that I had to figure out how to stop the muscular skeletons. And the statues also caught me by surprise every time. As feedback, I can tell you that I barely used the magic or the dash. It didn't seem necessary for me. I think you should explore more gameplay alternatives when moving the tiles, since it's the main distinguishing factor of the game compared to others. Good luck.

You should put that game on the steam around 5 USD. Do a little bit more polish the art and make as the fast pace game. it can be the potential commercial game.

8:00-8:20 you could add outlines. You could also make the outlines only visible at certain times like right after moving a tile or something.

This game looks great! I definitely like the idea of having every other tile shaded separately to distinguish where each starts/stops.
