Fair play: this fight was an absolute sham. I think we fight fans have been duped. Shame on them, and shame on us.

A hard watch. Jake Paul could have let his hands go & stopped him if he wanted, I'm just glad he had enough respect for Mike not to take a liberty & really hurt him. I'm sure the millions in the bank will soften the blow for Tyson.

What most people call the cross is actually a rear straight. The cross goes over the lead jab

A mouthy kid stepped on his foot so got a slap. It's not about being startled and lashing out. It's a natural and unthinking reaction.

Mikes punch resistance will be zero. If Paul lands clean anywhere on Mikes head he’s gone. Paul doesn’t have the skill to keep Mike off him though and at some point Mike is going to land one on his chin. Lessgo Mike. 🥊

Tyson cannot take a chance playing around. I give Tyson 90 to 10 odds at winning. Remember he has been defeated 5 times. Good to have a thoughtful analysis by a Scottish in their lovely accent. ❤❤❤❤❤

isn't it depends on the style of a boxer? taller boxers with long reach would benefit from a classic way of throwing right cross, like Joshua or Klitschko brothers

I appreciate your insights Sir. Stepping into the ring is a noble act which should be shown respect and honor. Those that do I have deep respect for. The antics undermine and are unfortunate. Aside from this I am hoping Tyson takes care of business quickly and retires.

He’s 58! You are living in the past furious pressure at 58 isn’t the same as fast & furious at 28! This should never happen. If Mike gets knocked out it will be awful & sad to see. History is littered with fighters who left it far too late to stop fighting. I loved Mike as a fighter but his last few fights when he was still fighting were not good to watch.

Mike said numerous times that he wouldn't have faired well in MMA because he'd quit as soon as someone stood or stomped his feet. He claimed " I hate anyone near my feet" and then Jake stands on Mike's bare foot with his big shoes

Tyson has to land a haymaker or two immediately because a 58 year old does not have the aerobic capacity....... I doubt Tyson can get this done fast enough. Jake Paul is also heavy and has a much longer reach. I give Tyson almost zero chance to be honest.

Tyson will most likely win and win in devastating fashion, even at his age. The problem for Paul is he's fighting an elite former heavyweight champion. Yes Tyson is 58 years old, but what made Tyson so great was his phenomenal speed and boxing ability, and the power, well that was the icing on the cake. Tyson still uses lateral movement, he still knows how to close the ring, and he still uses angles with great leverage when he punches. Paul on the other hand has very much improved in the past 4 years, but his main ability is punching power, he's got power, but he's defensively flawed. Paul drops his hand every time he throws a punch. It's an amateur habit, why? Because he's a novice, a very good novice, but still a novice with huge flaws, which will get painfully exposed when Tyson catches, catches him hard and theres not much he can do about it. Jake is the younger guy, but Tyson will be the one countering him, making him pay, because even at his age he;s still the better boxer. It's the defensive flaws that are the problem for Jake. It's really a question of can Jake take the punishment and carry on.. personally i think it's the bodyshot from Tyson that does it, and that becomes obvious in the very first round. I think it's over very quickly.

I respectfully disagree, Frank. Tyson shows short clips of dynamic outbursts but he has many bodily issues and drugs have depleted him. Look at Belfort Vs Holyfield for an idea of how this fight is going to go. Tyson lacks stamina. We need to realise this is 2024 and not 1985.

I think it is bad for Boxing Frank, like you I just don't know how it pans out, I agree that the best outcome for Boxing is Tyson scoring an early KO, if it is rigged I think it'll probably be a Draw! Interesting that the odds for a Draw appear to be a lot lower than normal 💙🥊🤔👍

I think it's a difficult one to call i believe Jake Paul is actually better than a lot of people think and is 30 yrs younger and obviously fitter...on the other hand although Tyson is old the last thing a fighter looses is his power... I personally hope Tyson knocks him spark out

Tyson's experience alone will be the deciding factor, considering he has boxed since he was a kid and has trained to be a fighter for almost his entire life. Mike's ferocity and his 'peekaboo' boxing style means Paul is going to get hurt, in multiple ways.

Mike has had back surgery. He's been smoking pot non stop for decades. That is devastating to one's lung capacity. He's 58. Notice that we see nothing but short clips of him hitting the pads or heavy bag. I've seen a few sparring clips of him when he's got a guy pinned on the ropes. I'm skeptical. I'm 66 and look like a pro on the mitts and bags. As you well know sir, fighting is another matter...tracking your opponent down, absorbing shots, physical infighting, the psychological pressure of live competition ....it's all energy sapping and requires great conditioning. Mike still has his power. So do I at 66. But there's no way he's gonna be able sustain action for more than a few 15-20 second clips. If Jake is smart he gives Mike no rest. Mike's gotta to get a knockout early to win this fight. The one thing working to Mike's advantage is the fact that the Paul team made the asinine decision to put 20/25 pounds on Jake. He clearly does not carry that weight well. It's gonna soften him up and slow him down while adding nothing to his power or ability to absorb shots. If he thinks he's gonna go toe toe with Mike, he's delusional. So I give Mike a shot. If I'm betting I'm going with youth and Jake. But that extra weight man.....big big mistake.

Frank, stop comparing your noble sport to this type of Boxing. We get it. It is a noble sport, and im happy you're an ambassador of the Art of Boxing. The sport needs people like you to keep it alive. This is more of a Gladiator Boxing fight. Promotion, Welcome to the US of A. Two different types of Boxing. Please don't compare the two; we get it. Like or hate, everyone will be watching the fight tonight. When the Bell rings tonight, it's all over but the tears. I guarantee you Jake is shaking in his boots right about now. Tyson will be giving Jake a bit more than a slap tonight. In the second round, Tyson should have his second breath. Much respect for the noble Art and for you keeping it Alive. You're an inspiration. Just because it's Noble, it doesn't give it a right to say that everything else is crap. 🥊🥊🥊

If Tyson can get inside and go to work breaking ribs, nose and bruising jp's liver with that left hook, and unleash that uppercut to rattle his jaw...then jp is going understand what real aggression is, the kind of aggression that if there was no bell, or ref, he'd be in a fight for his life. That kind of experience is going to traumatise him, if he gets through round 1, he's going into round 2 with PTSD.

This looks like teaching to follow though with the punch, only my coach warned me about leaning too far forward on my cross. Better to step in on the cross or jab and sit when I throw, then overthrowing and pitching my weight forward. If you miss you're wild open and you can't throw another punch because you're off balance till you sit up. It's a great finisher when thrown and with a little luck can end a fight fast.
