Thing is though, JP is a big, young lad and he CAN throw a punch. He does train hard too. Im very much on Mikes side and would love to see him actually beast JP onto the canvas. I cant find anything likeable or respectable about JP at all whereas Mike has love in his heart as well as ferocity and I really hope he puts the kid in his place.

Hi Frank, Tyson, first round to test and measure, round 2 will be devastating, his footwork and ferocity even at his age will be something Jake as never envisioned or encountered. If it gets past round 4, then Jake has a chance due to youth. Jake does not look conditioned, Tyson does, the reality is Tyson is a killer, he had gone quiet, and is ready to rumble 🥊

He’s 58! His last real fight 19 years ago he was KO’d. If athletes could continue then they would have. Plus the rounds are only 2 minutes and they are using big heavy 14oz gloves not the regulation 10OZ. It’s a Disney Land show and people are disrespecting the fact that the real fight is a super lightweight Title fight that’s actually real and will by far be more eventful.

I respectfully disagree, Frank. Tyson shows short clips of dynamic outbursts but he has many bodily issues and drugs have depleted him. Look at Belfort Vs Holyfield for an idea of how this fight is going to go. Tyson lacks stamina. We need to realise this is 2024 and not 1985.

He’s 58! You are living in the past furious pressure at 58 isn’t the same as fast & furious at 28! This should never happen. If Mike gets knocked out it will be awful & sad to see. History is littered with fighters who left it far too late to stop fighting. I loved Mike as a fighter but his last few fights when he was still fighting were not good to watch.

I adore Mike. I think that Mike Tyson in his prime would have beaten any other heavyweight in their prime. Jake Paul would not even be a suitable sparring partner for prime Mike, it would have been too dangerous for him. However Mikes greatest assets in his prime was speed (both offensively and defensively) and precision, not strength. Speed and precision do not age well. In fact they were mostly gone in his last real fight over 20 years ago. He is now 20 years older, having spent much of those 20 years doing a variety of drugs and not staying in shape. I fear for Mike in this stupid, stupid fight. If Paul wins, what does that say about any of them? If Mike wins? The answer to both is Nothing. I want to remember Tyson for the beast of a fighter he was in his prime. I would love to see him beat the crap out of Jake Paul, but the odd chance of that happening is not worth risking Mikes health.

Tyson’s fights have been fixed for years; mcneely was bad but there’s many many “air” knockouts and the tape doesn’t lie. There’s nothing “ferocious” about a paper tiger who was just in good shape.

If Tyson can get inside and go to work breaking ribs, nose and bruising jp's liver with that left hook, and unleash that uppercut to rattle his jaw...then jp is going understand what real aggression is, the kind of aggression that if there was no bell, or ref, he'd be in a fight for his life. Tyson's experience alone will be the deciding factor, considering he has boxed since he was a kid and has trained to be a fighter for almost his entire life. Mike's ferocity and his 'peekaboo' boxing style means Paul is going to get hurt, in multiple ways.
