Don’t get me wrong, I love your videos, but yeah, it’s a bit difficult for me to feel sad about the trials and tribulations of the issues you are having with your exotic car collection. Your nightmares are kind of the epitome of the phrase “First World Problems!” Just stating the completely obvious.

They’ve probably got a 911 for every mood, season, and maybe even your astrological sign. Feel like going fast? There’s a 911 for that. Want to take the roof off? Got you covered. Need to race, but also want heated seats and an infotainment system? Here’s a GT3 with a cupholder. If we keep this up, Porsche will eventually have more 911 models than Starbucks has drink combos. If I had to guess how many 911s there are... I'd say infinity and one more, because just when you think you've seen them all, they release another one!

My father had several Triumph's and MG's he bought new through the 60's and early 70's. They all leaked fluids or had fuel pump issues and/or other little issues and that's called "character". The last one he had was an early 70's MG midget, which he kept in the garage during the cold New Jersey Winters, and he would put a hot plate under the engine so he could start it before going to work in the morning. That being said, I would still love a TR 6.

My personal belief is that pure electric vehicles are not selling well because oil companies are doing everything they can to try and stop that. Especially commenting on social media sites with in many cases just flat out lying. These oil companies are going to spend every last penny they have fighting this any way they can.

Spare parts for old premium brand cars: Be glad they are premium brand cars, at least somebody is making something. Try getting something other then service parts for a 40 year old regular shitbox :( .

Good luck with the trip😉 Assuming you wont find sustainable fuel throughout the trip. Does the engine handle fossil fuel without adjustment?

I love my Emira. Absolutely. Love. It. Larini Exhaust. Eventuri intake. A brand new 2024 with a manual. Fairly low tech for a new car, in a good way. I'll never sell it. As far as the Geely/Lotus direction... After owning 3 Lotus, this Emira will probably be my last Lotus purchase ever. The Emira will go down as the last "real" Lotus. And maybe one of the last analog ICE cars. Thank God that some hypercar brands are bringing manuals back though!

The government wants all of us to switch to EVs. So, instead of accommodating that plan by building adequate supply of charging stations, they spent precious money on wars and other political agendas. Nothing to do with helping the people. Engineers have already for the last couple of years declare the move "is" a bad idea and not a practical one. The government is too embarrassed to admit their mistakes but double down instead.

I think we (as car enthusiasts) just need to start changing 'originality' parts.... for the modern counterpart... that way you can get modern replacements for fueling systems, and electrical systems. Original stuff for post 1973 ish through the 90's cars is just unobtanium no matter the price. It's a journey going away from non-stock, but I think its the only way to drive and enjoy the cars as a car. If you want it to be art, you don't need to do this, but if you want to drive. I think this is the only option.

Ferrari never have made quality parts, they've always been extortionally overpriced and badly engineered like the majority of Italian automotive companies.
