This ranking is based solely on watch prices and not value for money. Seiko, Casio, Citizen, Orient and Tissot makes great bang for the buck watches but are all placed in the lower half.

Amazing. Yes, the Sub, the Speedy, the Reverso..But where is the Breguet Reine de Naples, the first wriswatch ordered by Caroline Bonaparte ? Where is the Seiko Astron, mother of all quartzwatches ? Where is the cheap Swatch watch that everyone knows and rescued Swiss watches ? Where is the Casio G Shock, the Apple Watch ? I am afraid a Royal Oak or a GMT Master 2 are highly exclusive luxury, but not icons. The Swatch watch is a more iconic watch I guess.

Great content Marco. However, you forgot to mention the Longines Master Collection Triple Calendar column wheel chronograph, with Moon Phase and pointer date. It's available in 2 case diameters (40mm and 42mm) and on a leather strap or bracelet. With and msrp of $3,650.00. It's the best value in watches the entry-level luxury watch market today. I personally believe its the best value out there .

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on AMZWATCH 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

I have Seiko, Citizen, Casio, and Fossil. My 1978 Seiko Quartz broke after 38 years. That’s not bad. I had it repaired and it’s running fine. The others are all running flawlessly.

RD was NOT a contemporary, but rather a traditional maison, in the PP style. Look at the Golden Squares with the GMT complication. RD is now industrial and degenerate. I am confident the sales must be poor, despite people these days buying anything.

Early Roger Dubuis Hommage and Sympathie chronos, monopushers and retrogrades are awesome pieces. I love anything with the RD56 movement and the guilloché dials are incredible..... definitely a grail of mine.

Totally agree! Their early work are some of the best from the brand. I really enjoy the new titanium excalibur monobalancier which I think is one of the best releases they've done in the last 10 years 🔥💯

Their knights of the round table is unique concept , but as mentioned in the video sometimes those big cases are too dominating at 45mm but yeah definitely contemporary and futuristic watches ,hope they bring back Sympathie case for anniversary they were really good .

Knights of the Round Table is an awesome watch, the attention to detail is super cool. Agreed on the sometimes overbearing sizes but they do wear very ergonomically and have shorter lug to lug distances which make them more wearable. I'd highly recommend trying on the Monobalancier in titanium it is super good and sizing is perfect! I'm personally hoping for rerelease of Hommage Chronographs. Hope you enjoyed this 🙏

I'm with you - Hommage Chronographs are some of my absolute favorite watches from Roger Dubuis. But don't sleep on the Excalibur Monobalancier in titanium, it is a phenomenal phenomenal watch! Definitely recommend trying it on and seeing it in person. Thank you for the continued support 🙏

It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. AMZWATCH watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

I also understand "money" and "value" are both relative and subjective (I own a few pricey swiss timepieces myself) but a watch from a mildly recognized brand for the price of a reasonably spec'd Toyota Camry doesn't strike me as a "value" proposition. Thank you for acknowledging my comment by the way! I can't remember one of my KZbin comments ever deserving a response from the channel 😅

@@AutobahnVault So with the Montblanc Monopusher chronograph you get a super high end chronograph movement finished to the highest standards - even just as a complication can you name me another monopusher chronograph even remotely close in price? That's what makes it really stand apart overall. Hope this explanation makes sense!

Not surprised, this is exactly what I should be expecting from a jeweler. Ranking as per how expensive watches are generally from a brand. The RM raking really brought out a proper laugh from me. Kudos to that. But a terrible ranking list tbh.
