I very much agree on the SMP sword hands series auto. I have 4 of them purchased between 2 and 2.8K preowned, 2 of them in full titanium. Fantastic value.

Marco, thanks for doing these videos from a value collector perspective. I am researching the aventurine dial market. Could you do a video on aventurine dials from $1,000 to $40,000 price range?
@MarcoFerranteWatchesАй бұрын
Thank you! There's a ton of great pieces to pick from including Lange's Saxonia Aventurine, Moser's Endeavour Perpetual Moon, Christian Ward's Aventurine Moonphase and I also like Sartory Billard's Aventurine dials. These are few of my top picks. Glad you enjoyed this list 🙏

Nice vid! That Cartier is actually really cool for only $6k, looks like a 20k watch to me! If they had the case in rose gold it'd look even better in my opinion! Any chance you'll do a video of you touring the stores? The backdrop is cool and I want to see more :)

Great selection and an absolutely wonderful presentation. If I were to add one more watch to the best value complication watches, I would add an annual calendar complication, a Zenith Captain Winsor Annual Calendar watch. To my knowledge, it is the only annual calendar chronograph watch with a high beat movement.
@MarcoFerranteWatchesАй бұрын
The Captain line from Zenith is also one of the most undervalued lines out there. So many great watches to pick from from Zenith as they truly are super underrated. Thanks for the support on the video 🙏

Thanks for the video, Marco! Would you say the Rolex Sky-Dweller is a value for money annual calendar complication?
@MarcoFerranteWatchesАй бұрын
Thank you for the support! I don't know if it's a "great value" as there are so many annual calendars that are more affordable than it. But considering its reliability, build quality and design I certainly think it's a fantastic choice. Glad you enjoyed this 🙏

Great content Marco. However, you forgot to mention the Longines Master Collection Triple Calendar column wheel chronograph, with Moon Phase and pointer date. It's available in 2 case diameters (40mm and 42mm) and on a leather strap or bracelet. With and msrp of $3,650.00. It's the best value in watches the entry-level luxury watch market today. I personally believe its the best value out there .

Awesome picks man I haven't seen any of these yet... Love the exposure you give to things Ive never seen... I forget where but you either showed it or something the historiques 1942 from your favorite brand... I freaking fell in love with that watch after you mentioned it man as it became a grail for me... Thanks for costing me like around 20k one day 😂
@MarcoFerranteWatchesАй бұрын
Thank you, glad you got to broaden your horizons here! The 1942 is one of my favorites and I truly believe it is a future classic. An amazing timepiece that showcases all the qualities I love from Vacheron - technical watchmaking, finishing and artistic conception. All are executed at the highest level in the 1942. Glad you enjoyed this 🙏

Marco, what is your take on the Glashütte line? How do they compare to IWC, Rolex, and Zenith? Especially Glashutte Original PanoReserve Watch, 40mm Silver Dial, 1-65-01-22-12-61. Thanks!
@MarcoFerranteWatchesАй бұрын
I am a big fan of Glashutte and I think at their pricepoint they make some of the best finished watches over their Swiss counterparts like JLC and IWC for example. I really enjoy the PanoReserve I think it's a great looking timepiece but I'm an even bigger fan of the PanoInverse. It's an awesome watch! Hope you enjoyed this video 🙏

I fail to understand the "value" concept for a $20,000.00 chronograph from a brand whose secondary market values plunge.

Are we talking the Montblanc Monopusher Chronograph?
@AutobahnVaultАй бұрын
@@MarcoFerranteWatches Yessir! I understand the engineering and beauty behind it. I also understand "money" and "value" are both relative and subjective (I own a few pricey swiss timepieces myself) but a watch from a mildly recognized brand for the price of a reasonably spec'd Toyota Camry doesn't strike me as a "value" proposition. Thank you for acknowledging my comment by the way! I can't remember one of my KZbin comments ever deserving a response from the channel 😅
@MarcoFerranteWatchesАй бұрын
@@AutobahnVault So with the Montblanc Monopusher chronograph you get a super high end chronograph movement finished to the highest standards - even just as a complication can you name me another monopusher chronograph even remotely close in price? That's what makes it really stand apart overall. Hope this explanation makes sense!

Funny how none of your online budddies would ever buy any of these watches because they depreciate to much and have low status all of them only buy hype brands
@MarcoFerranteWatchesАй бұрын
That's not really the case and even so, we all have different personal tastes and styles. That's what keeps watch collecting fun. If we all loved the same watches and collected the same pieces it would be a bit boring 😅
