I think it would be a lovely time to go. Warm but not too hot. August was boiling but we still loved every minute. My parents have been in February and it was like a hot British Summer day and cooler in the evening.

Hi, We just turned up and asked for the cheaper afternoon tickets. Yes you will defo save a lot of money and it's not a massive waterpark so a few hours is great. Have a good time

Hi, It's hardly light so I couldn't tell you what time it rises and sets as it's mainly dark!! Morning activities and afternoon/evening were all in the dark. This isn't a problem, everywhere is well lit and the snow reflects the light and makes it seem brighter than it is. We skied in. the dark all of the time. They are geared up for it so nothing to be concerned about

I'm so glad I came across you're video !!! I have been sat for the last few weeks going over and over every hotel, area in dubai, went to book today, was put off by a few negative reviews 😢, until I saw you're video, I'm very grateful 😅😅 wanted a British prospective ! I'm going in June July, probably be indoors or in the pool!! Thanks again for you're informative video! It helped change my mind ❤

@ we were also on a budget. Yes 5-7 min walk. Me and my friend found that breakfast and dinner was enough plus a couple of snacks here and there. Our teenage boys ordered food on the app for delivery and McDonald’s etc is sooo cheap!! Prob 1/3 of what it is in England. I’m gluten free so got some bits from M&S in the mall. Honestly you can do it on a budget. Top tip… pack a small cool bag and ice block. They give you free water so you can then cool in fridge in the room and take to pool with you. We got the boys cans of drinks in the mall (Waitrose) and took to pool. Saved us so much . Also get duty free (if you drink) at airport and put in your fridge. You can get wine/beer at mall too.

Thank you for a great video, the hotel is one our list for our trip in Feb 25 and your insight has helped push it to the top. We like to idea of how close it is to the Nakheel Mall and the Palm itself but did wonder how easy it is to get from the hotel to the Mall. From the online maps it looks like a nightmare of busy roads - are there any underpasses or safe footpaths? Thanks again.

@@roysmith9733 hi, apparently there is a walkway but we didn’t find it. We crossed the road and it was fine to access. The hotel location is great. I’ve also stayed at W Dubai on the palm which is more money and I probably preferred it overall but Dukes is such valve for money and a great place to go.

Here is my honest review as I am here now and not about to be dishonest. The room family room. I can not complain about it and if you get the right room. You will have a big size balcony. The only thing I think the balcony needs is sunbeds and a clothes rack. The food is hit and miss. I give it a 5 Ice cream in the restaurant only comes out from 2.20pm till 4pm and in the evening twice a week. The Entertainments. For the young kids. You have a movie night 8pm or before the Mini Disco at 8 30pm till 9pm The main entertainment isn't that great. My kids and i have given the entertainment a 3 as it's mostly dancing. The pools was ok. You got only 1 heated pool. The lazy river definitely lived up to its name as you had to paddle with your hands or grad the sides to help you around. The lazy river gets a 3 It was freezing also. The heated pool gets an 9 And the last pool gets a 8.5 The workers gets a biig 10 Security 10 Not much daytime activities. Might be the time of year in November. Housekeeping gets a 10 The shops. They l overpriced. So bring your own toiletries. Shower wash, etc... Water park opens at 10am. Some did not open till 2.30pm and closed at 4pm. Not sure about summer time Don't expect the sand on the beach to be soft. Its very grity. I would not let my young children play on the sand. Our overall stay gets a 9.6

Да они рады, что все их отбросы убрались за границу, но при этом связи с ними не теряют, как и не отказываются от денег, что те присылают на родину. Их нисколько не волнует, что это деньги с наркоты-бандитизма...Вообще не надо слушать всех этих мусульман и прочих, у них совершенно другой менталитет, который отличен от европейского.-Аллах дал нам эту Землю и она будет наша! Hi, I've just got back from Dukes on The Palm with teenage boys and I would say this hotel was more suited to children. It depends on the age of the children though. Dukes the palm has a lazy river and a very small kids pool area. The main pool is deep so not suited to younger children really. The W has an adult vibe with the wet deck and the pool layout and restaurants. I wouldn't choose W with children. The Dukes review video will be out soon so you'll see more of the hotel.
