Do you happen to still have that data plate on the 12V? I think it’s needing a crank sensor. I’ve been working on cleaning up some stuff, breather, cac plumbing and turbo. Fixing leaks…oil and boost and exhaust.

Did you make that shackle flip yourself or does someone produce it? I did a shackle flip on my K5 Blazer 25 years ago. I’m in the process of lifting my E350 and I’m thinking of doing the same.

Cutting the lower body line would only look good if you shorten the side door as well, could be a major job with the inner step also... One thing for sure needs cutting, the rear wheel arches end pieces, they should go straight down and don't follow the tire... The riser kit looks nice, sitting well straight now! Interesting to watch as always, thanks for the update. 👍👍👍

Yeah I'll probably leave it like it is unless I run larger tires. Thanks for hanging in there and still watching my channel.

Well the good thing of using that trans they are rated to tow 9,000 lbs. Looks good no luck in finding the kit but the newer vans have that style arms and wonder if those would work
@JYDOG
@JYDOG 21 күн бұрын
I figure that trans would work since they come in Ford Excursions with a 5.4. I'll keep my eyes open for any of these kits that may come up and let people know. The closest kit I know of the quadvan but I don't think they sell it as a DIY.

looks good! i would mount it on the tongue of the trailer and and since you have a hitch in the front of the truck you could mount it there but like you said itll be cool to have it so you can move it back and forth where needed

Would you be able to tell me what kit you found that I could possibly try to find and for AC look into a backpack unit for semi trucks because they are 12v
@JYDOG
@JYDOG 2 ай бұрын
@@jimc5624 It is an MG Metalworks/ExpoVan kit. Unfortunately they do not sell these anymore. Best kit I know of. I bought a timberline 4x4 kit then a 2019 Quigley wrecked conversion and finally found this one. Quadvan may be the closest but it is not DIY. There are still some uninstalled kits out there. If you look around you might find one. Thanks for the semi truck recommendation I will check into that

It’s very dangerous anytime you remove Springs, they always need to be properly secured before you try to remove them, either with a chain, a spring compressor or a jack Underneath them for support! You’re lucky you didn’t get badly hurt!

Yeah when it first happened I thought I broke my leg. It really was a wake up call. Definitely blessed it wasn't worse. Usually more careful but all it takes is one stupid mistake.

@@JYDOGYou should have had the jack under the I Beam. The shock is the only thing holding the spring on. I usually take the shock off and let the spindle drop and there will be no pressure on the spring.

I had a motor home that used heat from the engine to heat hot water 🚿 and it worked perfectly! Not sure 🤔 how it worked some kind of heat exchanger. You could get a portable water schematic from a motorhome manufacturer Portable water, purchase the required parts and install them on your RV. And like the Chinese you could reverse engineer it! I think 🤔 the one I had did have some sort of relief valve that opened when the pressure exceeded a preset pressure maybe 🤔 it opened and sent the water back into the holding tank so it doesn’t blow a hose fitting or the hot water tank itself!
