Sounds/appears you have a creative, "MacGyver" approach to your rig. However, it seems like an unneccessarily daunting task to increase payload/towing capacity the way you're doing it. Comparing your rig to a factory 8200 GVWR F150, your wheelbase is shorter, your engine is smaller, transmission is smaller, your rear axle is smaller, and perhaps even the front driveline (?). I know the 8200 GVWR F150s are rather uncommon, but if you searched the right places, I'll bet you could find one that suits you.

Do you recall if you had to loosen body bolts to get the front a little higher up off the frame? I'm going to be doing the same process in the next little bit and have a lot of concern about getting the original 64 out and getting the new engine in while the cab is still down on the frame

I need a Trailblazer intake and upgraded cam for my 6.0 liter LQ9. I'm at about 375hp currently. 400hp would be cool. It's already stupid fast as is, but why not faster? The cool thing about an LS is it always runs exactly the same, every day, every time. No tinkering required. Nice TJ!!
