I wish i could upload a pic here in the comments to show my bedroom.. its not a very luxurious one but is bright simple pretty and elegant and peaceful 😀 Colour pallete of my room is White, walnut wood wardrobes and bed with a mirror on top, white and pink and little brownish floral curtains with sheer and similar bedsheet, our photos over headboard and floating shelves on the side wall with a beautiful flower pot with hanging vine and clock and photo frame with patterns..and yes a single white side table coz our bed is in one corner as the room is not big enough.. Together all this makes our master bedroom bright and lovely. V get a good night sleep in this room.. 😍😇😇😇😇

It is interesting to know about "Asymmetrical balance", as most of the design layouts I came across are mostly "symmetrical balance", for instance, identical lamp stands and table lamps placed at each side of the bed. What about art deco?! Also i would be interested to know if different neutrals that doesn’t fit 100% are ok? It seems the undertones are not the same ;( for example my walls are a type of beige more towards yellow and my curtains a beige towards green. Is that ok? It’s so difficult to combine the colors to be harmonious. That’s the most difficult part, I find. Many thanks

Really lot of inputs to design our space, small suggestion that if you can share the 360 degree view of any space (Living /Bedroom /Kitchen /Bathroom) in all the styles. Many times only one side of the room is viewed by online and many apps also. But with that if we plan some confusions on choosing the - Floor tile or marble or wooden floor colour - Ceiling type like false ceiling and it's colour and lighting - Room colour (Paint), Door and window colour - Wardrobe finishing (Laminates) colour In online and apps with one side view (Photographic view) can choose and buy things like mattress, Side table, hanging light, Etc.

Hey, Zahira, awesome video as always! I was wondering about curtains - I have a 25cm deep load bearing beam right above the bedroom window... Where would you put the curtains - on the ceiling or right above the window frame so it hangs onto the beam? I am afraid that if it hangs from the beam it will make the room look narrow but if i hang them on the ceiling, there would be a 25cm gap between the curtains and the window wall :(

Hi! Dark colors can be used; the key here is to have the correct lighting plan and balance them with textures and other neutrals to warm up the space. :D

I can't find a bedspread like I want. I want a bedspread that fits like a fitted sheet, but is fitted only at the foot end, but is opened at the head. I can't stand comfortors because they're lumpy. I want a smooth fit. I've searched far and wide, but I can't find one. So frustrating!
