Hey this has helped inspire me to attempt to make my own buildings! Any advice for multi levels construction for playable interiors??

It's funny you say that... I had filmed myself making a multi level tavern with a playable interior. It was connected with magnets. I never got around to editing together the footage and posting it. My tips would be, try to keep it simple, that kind of build gets out of hand pretty fast. Also don't make the walls too tall or it will be awkward on the table.

Not sure if you are aware, but the video title says this is "Crafting Ultimate Terrain Boards - Plains - Hall of Craft (EP 46)" when it seems like it should be "Crafting Ultimate Terrain Boards - Swamp - Hall of Craft (EP 46)" but maybe that was just me. I just use craft paints from the dollar store or Michaels for my terrain, and I use reaper paints for my minis

Probabilmente i magneti conserverebbero più forza. Ironically I made this during the pandemic and never actually used it for a session. So no video on that yet. Happy you enjoyed this vid though!

@@HallofCraftVids very much so! Thanks! I’m just getting into the Hobby as I found myself thrust into the DM role. Been ad-lobbing a homebrew game for a bit over a year now. Found your videos about a week ago and they’ve been very helpful! This weekend we’re making the switch from printed battlemaps from Reddit to modular terrain. Wish I could share a picture of the massive stack of basic dungeon tiles I have now because of you haha. The tower is much more in depth but I think it will be a fun project to attempt this summer. Right now I’m trying to get the technique for walls a bit more honed.

I'm going to be trying this technique out on a Gale Force 9 Demogorgon! I also struggle with the mainstream glazing and layering way of pulling off OSL. I feel good about your technique though! Wish me luck. ❤

Honestly not sure, i have a bunch of magnets sizes in ym drawer, and i kind of just reach in there and use what fits. If i had to guess ide say they were 3mm.

Thanks! Yeah I need to pick up some matte varnish cans for sure, or just nut up and airbrush it every time.
