If you didn't already buy something, I'd tell you how you can use a P59 from a 2004 Silverado (and many others). They can do 12,000 RPM, reallistically not a lot beyond 8,000.

Yapping half-mindlessly, or loud shit music... You know... you can just film what you did and upload that. Most useful thing I heard was "10mm drill bit worked out pretty well". The rest makes me want to bash my head off my keyboard.

Hey new idea brotherman! Can you make another Honda motorcycle but this time instead of converting it to efi, convert it to diesel. Using the same output shaft system you have for the supercharger use it to engage a cam lobe driven injection pump to inject diesel. Machine new rods and piston for a diesel appropriate combustion ration. I had this idea but I know if there’s anyone on KZbin that can pull it off it’d be you.

How can I link my ECU to the Raspberry PI?
@patrickspapens5497

i recently ordered a bluetooth sensor board for telemtry logigng for the racetracks, i figured i would make a raspberry pi system that runs android and make an app for it to log it. Now i am waiting for a screen, i figured i could just as well make the sensor modular and use the system withthe screen as a navigation system when i'm on the road. Was curious about also hooking up the ECU of my track bike to make the entire system a motorcycle dash+telemetry logger. I was looking for housing builds but this video got it all, nice work!

These motors will live long lives at 50hp the trans not so much but clutchless shifts nice and easy and you can get 60 through the box before the input bearing gets pissed. You can use a crf230 basket and primary gear to make the clutch have 20% less load aswell as make you gears a bit wider and the china versions have a 6spring basket that will fit your springs plus two. Our compound bike is xr200 based but i have a few of these and rebel 250 motors around that iv stole stuff from for the compound bike in the early days. Its not all the same but its close enough with a little love most of it works well. Fyi our stock parts combo with a custom destroked crank pin took 60hp using basically the same rod as your motor before it let go at the bearing you have two so your probably not ever gonna worry about the rotating assembly but ring gap on the other hand id go pretty big and maybe add a piston squirter to keep things a bit cooler. You can also put a bigger oil pump really easily which helps with friction at 12-14k rpm which from what i remember i had a race bike as a kid that used one and that was about where the party was at its best and i know motors didnt live until we added a bigger oil pump and cooler. Not a power thing just a they like to rev but cant feed the head great. Awesome work i really appreciate the effort thats gone into it lol i understand all too well.

Man you cane far 😂 good luck and get some injectors so you can turn that boost up 😂 but really add some dry ice to your tank and chill the fuel before the run, e85 loves it methanol really adores it. If i may i would actually not get bigger injectors instead id make a nozzle at the tb pre blower and a solenoid triggered by a hobs switch or your standalone. Think something like this the engine gets to 9 psi the nozzle opens giving fuel from the rail pre blower cooling the blower and the mixture along with raising its efficiency (seals better). Pull fuel from the injection map at crossover and just use the extra baseline fuel from a jet ect to get the extra power. I think the heat soak minimization would be helpful because 200°f iat is pretty toasty at the end there and at only 10.9psi of boost. I bet a nozzle setup wouldnt let it get above 110° and if you wanna turn the boost up you need it. Also the air filter... I too thought it was fine... Back in our pull through single turbo days i learned those things suck.. we picked up from 10psi to 17psi taking it off after seeing it move under boost. These days we use a filter bag on a velocity stack from a Harley kit i had. The nozzle will also make the air going inti the blower densor and raise boost a noticeable amount. I know in my Volvo i saw a gain from 15psi to 17psi with the preturbo injection both on the gate. We did see a noticable power increase although our intake temps werent near what yours are so it wasnt huge. On the compound bike i would but we have two intercoolers so it wouldnt work out great but we did add a water injection at the port for cool down on back to back runs as were slowing and coming back to the start line.

Hi there, your explanation of why the engine goes lean is incorrect. It is not because the air has lower mass than the fuel. It is because when the throttle is closed, the manifold pressure is very low and any fuel coating the surfaces of the induction tubes after the throttle body will evaporate, which is why early emissions control devices on carbureted engines had a damper on the throttle to allow extra air to help burn this fuel when the throttle was closed. So, when you open the throttle on your engine, the first thing that happens is the fuel deposits on the walls of the inlet manifold, this leaning the mixture. This is the primary reason for an accelerator pump, to ensure a combustible (stoichiometric) mixture, not a rich one. You could have moved the throttle bodies to next to the inlet valves - a lot more straightforward. The inlet manifold is very long and includes the blower, this is the cause of your problem.

Well done! I have a similar setup for my 68 VW (EFI, Turbo) using a RPi and full blown TS as a gauge cluster. I'm assuming you are using an RPi 3. What is the load time from OFF to gauges? TS recommends using an RPi-4 but I want to continue using my RPi-3 if load times are acceptable. Thank you!

I had a 1967 CL-160 which topped out at 85, bock stock. I dove it 35,000 miles in fourteen months until I joined the Navy in 1972. With that bike, I drove from Western Illinois to Louisville and back every weekend. It ran 70 mph all day long. I cracked a piston twice because of using cheap gas. It was a real nice bike.
