I luv your enthusiasm. I’m a recent BTS fan, and particularly love dancers who analyze BTS dance performances from a dancer’s POV, having danced most of my life (taking contemporary, ballroom, hip hop classes, and been in dance competitions). I luv all forms of dance. And, choreography is so integral to K-Pop music which is why I love K-Pop.

This put a huge smile on my face!! I absolutely adore how playful and expressive you are in your dancing and choreography. I also love how you play with the senses here (tactile choreo, sight gags, music/silence). Excited to see what you do next :)

There are many reaction videos out there of dancers, analyzing choreography and techniques, but still this is one of like the top tier videos for me. Out of all the people, I personally think that you have explained Jimin’s capabilities THE BEST. You were so on point with everything and you were able to break it down amazingly, so easy to understand even for non dancers like me. Thank you

I know practically NOTHING about dancing, but yes, I agree that he's marking the last one - which is noticeable because he rarely does that. Even when the "professional" dancers in the group - especially Jimin - do it, he has a tendency to go all or almost all out, as if he doesn't have a "medium" or "low" setting on his power dial. ;) Also, the first dance is beautiful and shows off his ability to be soft, and lyrical and "in" the music very well. I usually refer to the original dance line in BTS as J-Hope - rhythm made flesh Jimin - poetry in motion Jungkook - pure physicality And it's always cool to see one of them move outside of their usual styles/strengths, when you get to see their true range. (I guess I should add V to my description at some point... Hmmm... V - visuals? Visuals and swag? Swag and style? Because he's a good dancer, but most dancers who watch/react to BTS dances notices his expressions and the way he puts his own personal touch on the choreo, not 'technical brilliance'. His acting abilities shining through, as it were.)

Loved this reaction. Jimin’s charm and talent, is sooo unexplainable and you did a very good job of attempting. It cemented my interpretation of him as a dancer and artist……he is mesmerizing and I honestly feel that there is not one other person on this earth that can replicate his style. He dances from the tips of his toes to the tips of his fingers….it’s all very intentional yet very natural to him…..something that cannot be copied as he is one of a kind. His dancing and singing is the most unique I have ever seen from an artist💜

2 years too late for this video but still I loved watching it! when I first watched this choreo I simply fell in love with it, everything the constant butterfly image and the formations the use of the number of members, the sync, the simple of movements that give that much of a frame to the whole image. I simply loved hearing you talk about the power this choreo gives, cause is like the message that loona brings with their music and the same power you can see in the MV.

I definitely FEEL that about hospitality feeling like a dance. The brief time I spent in food service, there was definitely a rhythm to the madness of a lunch rush and, like, working WITH the people around you with less talk and just sort of... flowing around each other. I'm not a dancer, but I feel like I understand that idea of the physicality being similar. I also deeply feel "I exist. WHY?!"

aw Riki, this is one of my favorite choreos of yours. It's a bit silly, and a lot cute, and yet cool. I love pauses and changes of dynamics in a choreo and this one had a lot of it. and you did great with your facial expressions. it all matched so well with the song.

Shane is great. I want to sit and have a chat with y'all after seeing this, y'all are great. Maybe just a big chat about the fear of death. XD Also about what is alive, brains, nervous systems, AHHHH. I would totally go to a cinema to see The Little Red Train. And a side note, Church of Nine Eyes is a great title. An anime, a horror movie, a side quest in a video game, it's just a good NAME. I love your opinions on the interview format, I'm excited to hear/see more of these. I would say that they might work better as a podcast, BUT, then I wouldn't have seen that great KITT shirt.

It is an interesting performance for sure. It's trying to both be a dance crew piece as well as a kpop piece. When I first watched it, I was taken by the whole production. It seemed so fun, so high energy and so grand and as if it was choreo for a dance competition. And it's something we haven't gotten from BTS in a long time. If you look at it as a kpop performance, then it is disappointing because you are spot on about how distracting all the movement is. If you look at it as a dance crew performance it is better, but also confusing because there is so much movement during the verse, but the chorus is just BTS and the background dancers are transitioning around behind them. I think the point was to create cool pictures, match the high energy of the song and create a spectacle. I think those goals were met, but it was quite a lot and maybe too much. I still love this performance, but I was challenged to think a little more critically about this dance, which I really appreciate :)
@dots_com13862 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah definitely. I knew they were stopping on beat, but never noticed how the movements weren't as clear or sharp as the clicks were. I guess I also didn't notice how committed to that moment Jungkook was, but it's awesome to see. I love how you mentioned that he gives 110%, which I think all the members do, but I especially get that sense with him. I am biased as he is my ultimate bias, but he has so much intentionality, precision and strength to perform in a uniquely JK way.

I've only just noticed that I pause and rewind for my own viewing and analysis on top of all yours haha. So a 40min video turns into at least an hour for me so I can digest what you're saying, but also go through it myself. I could just go watch it on my own, but it's much more fun to watch it with you, as if we're going through it together :)

seeing the title waas Definitely a stress i did Not needsdkfjhsd, but i'm happy to see it was less dramatic than it looked 🥺 this reminds me of how youtube used to feel, before everyone was a Content Creator(tm) and there were all slaves to the algorithm. when you do stop by, i'll be glad to see you, and when you're away you'll be living your life and that's wonderful. also it's like, i think as we grow, we have so many different relationships with people, and some of those are frequent and regular, but some can be put on hold for months or Years while you each learn and grow and Live your own seperate lives. i can't remember what my point is anymore but those relationships are really special, because no matter how long you are apart, no matter how long you need to be elsewhere, there's always this comfort in knowing that there is someone out there who knows you and thinks of you fondly. i wish you all the best on your journey, and i look forward to the times we'll meet again, whenever they may be 💕
