But also my 28 nosler can shoot well over 1,000 yards with a 175 gr accubond and still generate over 1,000 ft lbs of energy at 1,000 yards. Your little baby man 6mm cant sooooo what you trying to prove? Guess what? My $1,100 gun with a $699 leupold scope will do ten times more than that little toy you got there. The only issue I noticed about this video is calling it a long range big game cartridge. In the chart at 5:25 it shows the kentic energy at 1000 yards and it is only 880 ft/lbs. Most hunting style bullets only expand down to 1800 ft/lbs which would limit this gun to 400 yards. Can it be done or has it been done... sure. Should the typical Joe go out and think they can kill elk at 1,000 with any cartridge, absolutely not. Just know you rifle and bullet. Other then that, great infomative video about a round I have not heard about.
@JustAnotherGuyAdventures
@JustAnotherGuyAdventures 2 күн бұрын
That’s not actually true. Most bullet manufactures say bullets will expand down to 1800fps. Using velocity not energy I’ve heard the hornady guys even claim down to 1600 fps. I agree not everyone should be shooting out to 1000 and everyone should know their limit.

Another KZbin farse lairs with the claims of 1000 yard shooting and shooting Elk with a 6 mm bullets at 1000 yards is so far out there a lie it is off the liar measurement charts! I have been building rifles in 6mm-284 Winchester for 20 years and the cartridge is one I offer in many of my AR 10 uppers I build and sell. No way in hell I would attempt a shot at any Elk with a 6 mm past the 400 yard mark and that is risky. Living in the NW corner of Oregon and have been from childhood in hunts with Elders for Roosevelt elk right up to my 64 years of age where we hunt massive canyons NO one is going to tell their wild KZbin fad BS of shooting 1000 yard or 1000 yard of killing Elk when I am using range finders, and I know exactly how far 1000 yards really is! Only the most stupid and gullible PUNK ASS woke - gay fools believe this BS lie. Today's youth have no morals at all just lie through their teeth in your face and is evident of these jack wads are all woke and gay then rioting on school grounds supporting being woke & gay or supporting terrorist and are now full-blown communist.
