Whenever I find a Cab Forward in eBay that’s under $300, I’ll snatch it up in a heartbeat, lol. Cab Forwards are like potato chips to me, can’t just own one which is why I have 3 of them, lol. I recently found what I believe is a second generation AC-12 from Intermountain that has the different/improved motor. Thanks for posting this video and I wish you lived in San Antonio, TX, you’d love all the SP steam we run on fun run sessions! We have a couple train clubs here; SAMRA and AMRE and annual club dues are $120 and $65 respectively so it’s very affordable.

not all but most. on smaller locos like the pacific and mikado, the boiler is to small to fit a smoke unit in. however if bli can cram a unit in a loco they will do it. also the og paragon 1 locos dont have smoke

Intermountain needs to produce a new production release of their Cab Forward type locomotive models asap in the near future, I wouldn't mind owning a cab forward model as I am a big fan of SP steam power.
