I can explain the sound of the water feeling invigorating, it's not actually the sound for the most part. It's small negative ions, which are generated by running water and also by trees in forests. They have a physiological effect on us! This is a beautiful place, sometimes I feel I lived in the UK or Ireland in another life, who knows. Sorry for your loss too, you seem very sincere 🙂

😊 that’s nice. I think I like small negative ions. Thank you I appreciate that 🙏

We are on greyhound No. 3 after 25 years with greyhounds. Last time I got our latest, Minnie, within days of losing Foxy. I couldn't bear being without one and after previous experience decided to "get back on the horse". I had previously waited a couple of months after losing our first, Bally. Each has been different but each has enriched our lives. Go, Tori, on, do it. Get another. S/he'll be different but that's the point - you can't but love them - however they are and whatever their predecessor. They are all different and all lovely. We have their ashes, collars and dog tags in a "shrine". We do not forget but move on, cherishing the memories. That is how life is. Please do it, Tori. You'll be the better for it. Believe me.

I recently explored tiny van camping. Pulling into a small Park I happened upon a group that was part of a bluegrass festival. Some of my stuff is well used over the years but as I said recent tiny van camping I noticed amongst my materials what I noticed amongst hers, mainly that it is all brand new and I realized they knew I had not been on the road very long

Enjoy the content. Yeti great car. As a person of English descent can't resist nit picking. In orstalia we generally call dogs by a single male/female name with no miss or Mr id. She'd be Nancy. Hope puppy gets better.

I understand your loss, but you need to get another dog. I've had 4 though my life. basic reasons why ❤, a new dog will stop that sadness and concentrate you energy into the new dog. Walking around the moors crying is not going to help you, sorry for being blunt ❤❤❤❤❤❤and feed it meat NOT crap veg, dogs eat meat.

@missnancysdayoff Hi, I've got a mitsubishi shogun lwb 4x4 with two pull out awnings and a diesel heater . But miss the van life as if it's raining then can just spin the seats round and get cozy in the back of the van and still enjoy it . Both have pros and cons.. Heading up north next week ,Durness , Inverness and Glencoe for 4 days. Praying for snow but can't see it 😕😆. Take care and keep smiling 😊 x

Fancy house sitting in Bucks post xmas? Lots of walks, lovely hilly countryside, lake and river to swim in, neighbours dogs to walk, lots of space, open fire, 8 mins to town, 8 mins to forests, bikes to ride. Keep being you - being real is the appeal.

Such creative photography …… I’m only really discovering Dartmoor now & there is so much more to explore this winter. Also starting exploring Brecon Beacon next month and starting on the Wainwrights in the Lakes. I tried to go to Castle Drogo this week before having a couple of days hiking/camping with Rudi but it was closed; only reopening at the weekend, the outside area is dog friendly (no dogs allowed inside 😢). Oh boy, that water must be chilly, I have to work my courage up every single time but I do carry water shoes when I hike so easier on the feet. Well worth while to wild water swim and if truth be told, it’s addictive. Rudi won’t go in tho’, he hates cold water😂. Hiking and sailing are my great passions - mountains and the sea; love ‘em. Have a great weekend and also to anyone reading this.
@missnancysdayoff5 күн бұрын
thank you I’m trying ☺️ i know isn’t there that’s just what I thought when i was there.i haven’t been to the beacons either, so much to do! I’ve been the outside of Castle Drogo with Miss Nancy, it’s such a strange building! haha it was cold, same here i really wasn’t sure i could do it but in i went and that’s a great feeling. Rudi is sensible! they are goos things, i haven’t sailed once i was at school but i like to do some all that freedom! have a great weekend ❤️
@chrishamilton25275 күн бұрын
@ 😊 - it’s only a month to go until the shortest day. Thereafter we can start looking forward to ever increasing daylight. Long nights are great in a tent, a good book, listening to the rain drumming on the roof and the gentle snores of my long nosed boy, bliss. When you find time, give sailing a shot (not in UK, tho’, 🌞 South Pacific maybe). You’re right, it’s probably the freedom / self reliance thing. Storm Bert is rapidly approaching UK so stay safe. I’m confident super good days are coming your way 😃.
